Join our team and start your journey today!\nWe are looking for a Laboratory Technician (Refrigeration) in Belluno, Italy.\nSalary 26-40k\nKey responsibilities of the role:\nThe Laboratory Technician operates within the Innovation Lab, the company area dedicated to performing functional and performance testing on electronic devices used for the control and regulation of commercial refrigeration systems (e.g., refrigerated display cases, bottle coolers, condensing units, etc.).\nThe role is responsible for the preparation, execution, and validation of functional tests for electronic controllers, both on prototypes and on products intended for market release, once installed in final applications.\nIn addition, the position actively supports the development of new products, with a focus on improving overall performance and quality.\nAnalyze technical documentation and identify the resources required for test execution\nDefine and plan test procedures and test plans\nPrepare test benches, including:wiring modifications and setup activities\ninstallation and positioning of measurement instrumentation\n\nExecute:functional tests\nperformance tests\nvalidation activities on electronic controllers installed in real refrigeration systems\n\nMonitor, collect, and analyze test data\nPrepare detailed technical reports, including configurations, methodologies, and results\nSupport product development, prototyping, and system tuning activities\nManage, maintain, and calibrate laboratory equipment\nHandle laboratory technical documentation\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Operations, Quality, Finance) as well as international teams\nRequired qualifications and experience:\nTechnical diploma (electronics or electrical engineering) or\nEquivalent qualification with relevant practical experience\nBackground or experience in thermodynamics/refrigeration is considered an asset\nKnowledge of refrigeration cycle principles and key components (compressors, evaporators, condensers, valves, refrigerants, etc.)\nUnderstanding of commercial refrigeration applications\nExperience with measurement instrumentation and data acquisition systems\nBasic knowledge of electronics, with the ability to operate on electronic systems\nAbility to read and interpret electrical schematics (both controllers and applications)\nBasic experience in measuring, interpreting, and verifying electrical signals and I/O functionality of electronic controllers\nGood knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)\nStrong teamwork and cross-functional collaboration skills\nHands-on attitude and problem-solving mindset\nAccuracy and attention to detail in testing and analysis activities\nOrganizational skills and ability to manage priorities\nProactivity and ability to interact with different stakeholders\nPreferred qualifications and experience:\nPrevious experience in laboratory testing or Engineering environments\nKnowledge of relevant industry standards\nFamiliarity with advanced data acquisition tools and analysis software\nExperience with automation systems or programmable controllers\nBasic technical English proficiency\nAbout the location:\nCopeland Controls is a global leader in high-quality products and services, distributed and supported across more than 70 countries by a network of skilled and knowledgeable professionals.
