Based in our Suzhou location, you will be the key person for leading electronics/VFD products develop/qualification for Asia Engineering team, including system controllers and variable frequency drives. Provide hardware design expertise as well as design reviews for internal hardware engineers or ODM suppliers.\nAS A LEAD CONTROL ENGINEER, YOU WILL:\nDeveloping product specifications, test specifications, reliability plans, project schedules & performance, cost references\nReview and evaluate the design and testing results to ensure delivery of product with high quality\nMake decisions or recommendations regarding product designs and validation strategies\nCoordinate engineering activities with the Internal and external teams to execute the development and launch of new controller/VFD products\nPerform competitive product analysis and assist in ODM supplier selection\nReview and interpret agency standards to ensure product compliance. Work with UL (Underwriter Laboratory) /TUV/VDE agencies to obtain approval.\nCustomized hardware solutions to OEMs\nEMC issue troubleshooting and improvement\nCustomer field return products analysis\nProactively involved in the schematic design, PCB layout and FMEA etc., resolve issues in a timely manner.\nConduct design calculation to meet the requirements of functionality, power stress ratio, worst case analysis and other analysis\nWork out all requested hardware design or qualification documentation\nDesign for EMC, manufacturing, and testing\nDemonstrated ability to foster a learning culture to ensure our future success\nSecure intellectual property by ensuring patent disclosures is filed\nREQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:\nBachelor’s Degree with 10+ years working experience, or Master with 8+ years working experience, major in Electrical or Electronics/ Power Electronics or related major.\nTechnical depth and credibility in the areas of electronics products with embedded micro-controllers and EMI/EMC mitigation techniques.
