Join our team and start your journey today!\nThe Procurement Specialist will support development and growth of the supply base supporting Copeland's next generation of strategic platforms. This role provides an excellent opportunity for an early-career professional to gain experience working across sourcing, engineering, operations, and supplier quality teams to help ensure suppliers are prepared to support new product launches and business growth initiatives.\nThe successful candidate will assist with supplier readiness activities, support new product introduction (NPI) programs, and contribute to building a reliable supply base that supports strategic business objectives. This position offers exposure to procurement, supplier development, project coordination, and cross-functional collaboration while developing foundational supply chain and sourcing expertise.\nAs a Procurement Specialist, you will be responsibile for:\n\nSupplier Readiness & Program Support\nSupport supplier onboarding and readiness activities for new platforms, ensuring readiness across quality, capacity, cost, and delivery.\nAssist in maintaining sourcing-related program timelines, milestones, and risk mitigation plans.\nPartner with engineering, operations, and procurement teams to understand technical requirements and supplier capabilities.\nParticipate in cross-functional program meetings and follow up on assigned actions to support successful program execution.\n\nSupply Base Development\nAssist in identifying and evaluating potential suppliers that align with business and technology needs.\nSupport supplier capability assessments and readiness reviews.\nHelp gather and analyze supplier information related to capacity, performance, and capabilities.\nCollaborate with Supplier Quality, Commodity Management, and Advanced Manufacturing teams on supplier improvement initiatives.\n\nStrategic Sourcing Support\nSupport sourcing activities for new programs, including supplier research, supplier selection processes, and data analysis.\nAssist in developing and maintaining supplier databases and sourcing documentation.\nParticipate in cost analysis and supplier engagement activities during product development.\nSupport commodity teams in executing sourcing strategies and procurement initiatives.\n\nRisk Management & Reporting\nHelp identify potential supplier risks and support mitigation planning activities.\nMaintain supplier and program tracking tools, reports, and readiness metrics.\nAssist with preparation of status updates and presentations for project teams.\nSupport compliance with corporate procurement policies and supplier requirements.\nSCHEDULE:\nThis role is hybrid eligible after initial onboarding with the requirement to be in office at least three days per week. Colleagues are expected to demonstrate a collaboration first mindset, which is the understanding that teams will work together in-person and colleagues should be flexible to adjust their hybrid days based on business needs.
