Based in our Hinjewadi, Pune location, this senior-level engineering position requires a Basic understanding of refrigerants and refrigeration systems. This understanding should include system and safety aspects of developing test equipment that will allow cutting-edge development of products to support early adoption of customers and lead to the development of sustainable and environmentally friendly alternatives for the HVAC market.\nThis position requires a broad range of skills and offers a wide variety of rewarding work.\nAS A SENIOR ENGINEER, YOU WILL:\nEngage with engineering teams to understand and develop new or revised equipment specifications and requirements.\nDevelop, maintain, and analyze data and equipment reporting to help drive informed engineering decisions.\nDevelop or modify equipment and equipment software based on performance specifications and reliability test requirements.\nSpecify controls components and instrumentation that are necessary to provide accurate and consistent equipment operation.\nWork with technicians in the construction and operation of equipment.\nWork with technicians and engineers to develop equipment HMI screens that readily provide data and are easy to navigate and understand.\nDevelop software and control algorithms for the operation of equipment.\nDevelop procedures for safe and consistent equipment operation.\nUnderstand facility requirements to support equipment operation.\nWork with electrical systems\nWHO YOU ARE:\nYou will need to make important decisions and manage complex equipment design and development that not only impact on your role and career with the company, but that keeps your fellow employees safe.\nIn all of this, you will be required to effectively communicate to a range of audiences from product planning or management individuals to a seasoned product engineer who understands the most intricate details of compressor or system operation.\nREQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:\nBachelor’s degree in Electronics/Mechanical engineering plus seven (7) years’ experience or equivalent combination of education/experience.\nSelf-motivated and results driven.\nExperience with instrumentation and controls systems.\nBasic understanding of the refrigeration cycle, and refrigeration components.\nPotential travel for training or to support remote plants and labs: 5-10%\nPREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:\nBachelor’s degree in Electronics/Mechanical Engineering plus 7 years’ related experience.\nExperience programming and troubleshooting PLC’s or Process Controllers.PLC programming (Ladder, Structured Text, Functional Blocks, Flowcharts)\nMaintain and update program revision logs\n\nExperience with SCADA programs, SQL databases, and network infrastructure.Work with IT to set up servers and set up network ports and switches for equipment connectivity\n\nExperience with Visual Studio.\nAbility to specify and integrate specialized instrumentation.Provide access to data generated through:RS-485 Serial or Modbus Communication\nTCP/IP Ethernet Communication\nAnalog communication (4-20mA, 0-10V, frequency)\n\nExperience with other generalized analog and digital instrumentation.\nUnderstanding of low-voltage control systems as well as high voltage equipment systems.\nExcellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to work well in a team environment.\nOur Commitment to Our People\nAcross the globe, we are united by a singular Purpose: Sustainability is no small ambition.
