Join our team and start your journey today!\nDescription\nIf you are a senior operations leader passionate about building high-performing teams and driving operational excellence, we have an exciting opportunity for you!\nBased at our Forney Distribution Center, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day warehouse operations, including inbound receiving, outbound shipping, inventory execution, and order fulfillment. This role is accountable for delivering safe, efficient, and reliable operations while driving continuous improvement across safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity.\nYou will partner closely with Customer Service, Inventory, Materials, Transportation, and other cross-functional teams to improve operational performance, eliminate waste, and build sustainable operating processes. The Senior Operations manager is also responsible for building and maintaining positive employee relations and developing leadership strength within the Distribution Center.\nThis position operates under the general guidance of the Plant Manager.\nAs the Senior Operations Manager, you will:\nOversee warehouse operations including receiving, putaway, replenishment, picking, shipping, and inventory execution\nDrive safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity performance through disciplined daily management and KPI reviews \nLead, coach, and develop managers of managers while fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement \nMonitor operational performance using KPIs such as throughput, labor productivity, inventory accuracy, dock-to-stock, order accuracy, and on-time shipment \nPartner with Customer Service, Inventory, Transportation, and Materials to resolve operational constraints and improve customer service performance \nDrive root cause analysis and implement sustainable corrective actions for operational issues \nEnsure compliance with safety regulations, OSHA requirements, and company policies \nOversee continuous improvement initiatives to optimize warehouse layout, material flow, labor utilization, and operating processes \nDevelop and maintain standard work, operating procedures (SOPs), and operational controls \nSupport peak planning, workforce planning, and resource allocation to meet business demands \nLead additional projects and initiatives as assigned by the Plant Manager\nRequired education, experiences & skills:\nBachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Operations, or a related field (or equivalent experience) \n5+ years of direct management experience in leadership in warehouse, distribution center, or manufacturing operations\nDemonstrated experience leading managers and supervisors in a high-volume, metrics-driven environment\nStrong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and shipping/receiving processes\nExperience utilizing ERP and Warehouse Management Systems (Oracle, SAP, Manhattan, etc.)\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills \nExcellent communication and cross-functional leadership skills\nProven ability to drive operational improvements through data, standard work, and continuous improvement methodologies\nPreferred education, experiences & skills:\nExperience leading multi-shift distribution center operations\nLean, Six Sigma, or Continuous Improvement experience\nExperience with Daily Management Systems (Tier meetings, KPI reviews, Leader Standard Work)\nAbility to handle changing priorities and use good judgement in multiple situations\nKnowledge of warehouse automation and material handling systems\nExperience leading change management and operational transformation initiatives\nOSHA knowledge and forklift safety certification preferred\nWhy Work in the Dallas-Fort Worth Area\nOur distribution center is located in Forney, TX, one of the fastest-growing communities in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex.
