Based at our Sidney, Ohio, location, you will collaborate with engineering teams to design, develop, and qualify oil-free centrifugal compressors for HVAC systems. We are currently hiring a First-Shift Centrifugal Test Technician to help drive our growth and success.\nAs an HVACR Lab Technician, you will:\nFollow the engineering test instructions to evaluate compressor performance and durability\nSet up and install compressors and related electronics for testing purposes.\nOperate laboratory equipment such as durability test stands, gas cycle systems, and precision measuring tools to capture performance data\nFabricate custom test fixtures and controls for non-standard tests, including brazing, soldering, and wiring\nCollect and document test data in compliance with applicable standards\nPerform general laboratory upkeep and maintenance tasks\nSchedule:\nThis position is for 1st shift and would consist of five-eight-hour workdays, Monday through Friday and is overtime eligible.This role is based fully on-site and is not eligible for hybrid or remote work opportunities.\nRequired Education, Experience & Skills\nHVACR Certificate or actively pursuing one\nBasic mechanical, HVAC, and/or electrical/electronic skills\nStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities\nProficiency with personal computers and Microsoft Office applications\nLegal authorization to work in the United States - Sponsorship will not be provided for this position\nPreferred Education, Experience & Skills\nAssociate degree plus two (2) years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience\nHands-on experience in mechanical, HVAC, and/or electrical/electronic troubleshooting and repair\nExperience with brazing and soldering techniques\nWhy Work in the Greater Miami Valley Area\nOur facility is located in Sidney, OH, conveniently located within driving distance to several larger cities, such as Dayton, Troy, and Columbus.
