Join our team and start your journey today!\nThe Procurement Sourcing Leader will play a pivotal role in building, maturing, and scaling the supply base for Copeland's next generation of strategic platforms. This role sits at the intersection of sourcing, engineering, operations, and supplier development, ensuring new suppliers are identified, qualified, and ramped effectively to support aggressive program timeliness and long-term growth.\nYou will lead suppliers’ readiness for key new product introductions (NPI), drive cross-functional alignment, and help shape a resilient, high-performing supply base capable of supporting future strategic programs.\nThis position is critical to ensuring Copeland's future platforms launch on time, with the right suppliers, at the right cost, and with the right capabilities. You'll help shape the supply base that underpins our next decade of innovation - and you'll do it in a highly visible, strategically important role.\nAs A PROCUREMENT SOURCING LEADER, You Will:\nSupplier Ramp & Program Execution:\nLead supplier onboarding and ramp-up activities for new strategic platforms, ensuring readiness across quality, capacity, cost and delivery.\n\nManage program timelines, milestones, and risk mitigation plans related to supplier performance and sourcing deliverables\n\nPartner with engineering and operations to translate technical requirements into sourcing strategies and supplier capability needs\n\nFacilitate cross-functional program reviews, escalating risks and driving resolution to keep programs on track.\n\nTravel up to 25-30% of the time depending on projects.\n\nSupply Base Development:\nIdentify, assess, and develop suppliers to support emerging technologies and long-term strategic platforms\n\nConduct capability assessments and maturity evaluations to ensure suppliers can meet evolving technical and operational requirements.\n\nSupport dual-sourcing, localization, and resilience strategies to strengthen supply continuity.\n\nCollaborate with Supplier Quality, Commodity Management and Advanced Manufacturing to drive supplier improvement initiatives.\n\nStrategic Sourcing Support:\nContribute to sourcing strategies for new programs, including make vs buy analysis, supplier selection, and commercial negotiations.\n\nAlign supplier development activities with broader commodity roadmaps and enterprise procurement strategies.\n\nSupport cost modeling, early supplier engagement, and value engineering efforts during product development.\n\nRisk Management & Governance:\nIdentify supplier risks early in the program lifecycle and lead mitigation planning\n\nMaintain program dashboards, supplier readiness metrics, and executive-level reporting.\n\nEnsure compliance with corporate procurement policies, sustainability expectations and regulatory requirements.\n\nRequired Education, Experiences & Skills:\nBachelor's degree in supply chain, Engineering, Business or related field\n\n5+ years of experience in procurement, supplier development, program management, or NPI sourcing\n\nStrong understanding of manufacturing processes, supplier capability assessment, and supply chain risk management.\n\nProven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex, multi-phase programs\n\nExcellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills\n\nPreferred Education, Experiences & Skills:\nExperienced with supplier ramp-ups, new product introductions, or strategic platform launches is highly desirable\n\nPreferred experience in Commodities such as Castings, Steel, Stampings, Plastics\n\nCertifications such as Project Management is preferred\n\nCollaboration First Hybrid Work Arrangements:\nThis role is hybrid eligible with the requirement to be in office at least three days per week.
