Join our team and start your journey today!\nIf you are a PCB design professional with strong experience in PCB design of power electronics and Motor Drives, you have exciting opportunity in Power Electronics team of Copeland India, Pune location.\nYour Tasks Will Include\nDeveloping complex PCB layouts for variable speed drives from early concept through release to manufacturing.\nTranslating schematics, technical requirements, and mechanical constraints into optimized board designs.\nDefining and applying layout rules, layer stack-ups, controlled impedance requirements, and routing strategies.\nDesigning PCB layouts for high-speed, mixed-signal power electronics.\nApplying best practices for signal integrity, power integrity, thermal management, grounding, shielding, and EMC performance.\nPerforming design checks and layout reviews to ensure compliance with internal guidelines, customer requirements, and industry standards.\nPreparing complete manufacturing data packages, including fabrication outputs, assembly documentation, and supplier information.\nCollaborating with hardware, mechanical, EMC, test, and manufacturing teams to ensure design feasibility, quality, and smooth product industrialization.\nIdeally You Will Bring\nA degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, or a comparable technical field.\nAt least 5 to 7 years of practical experience in PCB layout and electronic product development.\nStrong expertise with PCB design tools such as:\nAltium Designer\nCadence Allegro\nSolid knowledge of:\nPCB technologies\nManufacturing processes\nLayer stack-ups\nControlled impedance design\nDifferential pair routing\nHigh-speed signal routing\nGood understanding of:\nEMC-oriented layout\nGrounding concepts\nFiltering\nShielding\nSignal integrity\nPower integrity\nThermal design principles\n Experience with:\nDesign for Manufacturing (DFM)\nDesign for Test (DFT)\nDesign for Assembly (DFA) requirements\nFamiliarity with relevant PCB design standards and guidelines, including:\nIPC standards\nCreepage and clearance rules\nProduction documentation practices\nA proactive working style, attention to detail, mentoring capability, intercultural competence, and solid spoken and written English skills.\nOur Commitment to Our People\nAcross the globe, we are united by a singular purpose: Sustainability is no small ambition.
