Based in our Suzhou location, you will be the key person for NPD parts development, new supplier qualification, cost and capacity improvement projects and supplier quality improvement. Your rule also will be to build strong supplier relationships, manage KPIs, and align supplier capabilities with organizational quality standards. And passionate about delivering zero-defect components and elevating supply chain reliability in fast-paced manufacturing environments.\nAS A SR. SUPPLIER QUALITY ENGINEER, YOU WILL:\nDevelop and qualify local suppliers for Casting, Machining, Aluminum Die Casting, Power Metal, Stamping etc.\n Implement the supplier development projects and manage the schedule for delivery timely\n Conduct on-site suppliers’ PPAP (Production Part Approval Procedure) and control the PPAP quality\nWork with suppliers to continuously improve the supplier quality performance\nSolve the issues caused by supplier quality and take preventive actions.\n Audit suppliers’ quality system and process, work with suppliers to drive the improvement actions. \nSupport suppliers on capacity increase and cost down projects\nConduct feasibility review with relevant teams\nCoach and share technical knowledge with whole team\nREQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:\nBS degree in mechanical or other related engineering background\nBe familiar with PPAP, MSA, PFMEA, SPC, APQP, ISO9001, Audit skills, GD&T etc. Capable understanding Engineering Prints and Specification\nAt least 8 years’ experience of supplier quality and development\nGood communication and Teamwork player, work independently\nGood skill for project management and schedule control, Traveling is required\nCapable of problem solving and follow up\nFluent verbal and written in English\nBe good at Microsoft Excel, Power Point etc. software skills\nPREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:\nOver 12 years’ experience of supplier quality and development\nOFC manufacturing related experience\nOur Commitment to Our People\nAcross the globe, we are united by a singular Purpose: Sustainability is no small ambition.
