Join our team and start your journey today!\nAs a Technical Sales Engineer - Malaysia/Singapore, you will be responsible for the efficient handling of technical queries for all Copeland products, from customers, field personnel and internal colleagues. Conducting training on application and installation and new products will be a key part of the job. Business development via developing and delivering technical solution Inspired by customer needs, pain points thru daily interaction with customers & market will be another key part of the job.\nResponsibilities:\nAcquire and maintain proficiency in all Copeland products and services, particularly system design and operation.\n\nProvide technical support during the specification and design process\n\nProvide support and take ownership on customer product lab test in third party test lab as well as Copeland test lab.\n\nAssist in selecting the appropriate Copeland product for the customer based on requirements and objectives\n\nConduct product demonstrations when required and answer any technical sales questions during the sales process\n\nOrganize training material and conduct technical seminars on product application and installation.\n\nProvide ongoing technical support throughout the product lifecycle when necessary, and respond to technical inquiries in a prompt, professional, and courteous manner.\n\nStay updated on industry trends, regulation, and new technologies in the HVACR sector\n\nSupport the installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of HVACR systems with Copeland product, visit sites as required to review systems and diagnose problems.\n\nProvide tangible application and commissioning supports, state-of-the-art solutions to the customers using Copeland Oil Free Centrifugal compressor, Copeland Variable Speed and integration solution products\n\nCommunicate and share knowledge / experiences internally\n\nIdentify and support any opportunities for upsell, cross-sell and land new customers\n\nProvide support to customers outside of Malaysia and Singapore as needed\n\nPerform related duties as assigned by the Supervisor\n\nRequirements:\nUniversity degree, or equivalent in Engineering, minimum five (5) years air-conditioning and refrigeration (HVAC/R) industry system development experience\n\nExcellent hands-on technical knowledge of compressors including variable & fixed speed, system design, electrical systems including inverter driver, controllers and trouble shooting\n\nKnowledge in oil free compressors and system development\n\nGood written and oral English skills\n\nSolid computer skills including MS Office, Internet software, E-mail, Windows\n\nExcellent spreadsheet knowledge required\n\nExcellent planning, organizing and prioritizing skills\n\nAttention to detail and an eye for errors\n\nAble to communicate with all levels within the organization\n\nAble to learn and work independently, whilst still working as an integral part of the team\n\nLegal authorization to work in the country of employment (Malaysia) - sponsorship will not be provided.\n\nThis position will be employed through Pebl, Copeland’s Employer of Record (EOR) / Professional Employer Organization (PEO) partner in Malaysia, while working full-time and exclusively for Copeland.\nOur Commitment to Our People\nAcross the globe, we are united by a singular Purpose: Sustainability is no small ambition.
