Join our team and start your journey today!\nJob Description\nIf you are a Technical Trainer looking for an opportunity to grow, Copeland has an exciting opportunity for you! As a Technical Trainer, you will deliver technical training to customers; contractors, wholesalers, end users,OEM'sand employees as it relates to Copeland Commercial and Residential Cold Chain Electronics components and systems used in the HVAC/R industry. The senior trainer must present a professional manner and develop good working relationships with subject matter experts and Product Managers within the organization. Coordination of relevant content from the experts is key to adding material to a course to ensure all learningobjectivesare met. The senior trainer must stay current with technology and the industry. Participation in industry events and HVACR online educational communities is an important part of the senior trainer's ability to stay current with industry trends and educational needs. The senior trainer provides coaching, guidance and feedback to junior training staff and serves as the lead customer contact point at training events.\nAS ATECHNICAL TRAINER, YOU WILL:\nDeliver all curricula using instructor-led, electronic/web-based, and/or multimedia training methods and formats\n\nConduct standard and custom classes per customer requirements\n\nFollow good pedagogy practices for teaching adults\n\nCoordinate the development of course material to cover learningobjectives; adjust learningobjectivesaccordingly\n\nEvaluate training material for improvements\n\nContinue self-study to understand all technologies that are part of the curricula\n\nParticipate in engineering and product planning sessions\n\nParticipate in industry related forums to ensure accuracy of technical information\n\nTrain and mentor training specialists\n\nREQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:\nFive (5) years of experience as an HVACR technician, wholesaler, educator or equivalent HVACR industry role\n\nExperience with Residential controls and components\n\nAbility to travel 60-70%\n\nAbility to present to groups andfacilitatelearning programs\n\nSkilled in providing customer service\n\nAbility to communicate effectively - verbally and in writing\n\nProficient in technology - Microsoft Suite of Products; PC's, Mobile Devices\n\nAbility to work in a team-oriented and collaborative environment\n\nLegal work authorization in the United States - Sponsorship will not be provided for this role\n\nPREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:\nDegree in HVACR-related field\n\nSeven (7) years of related experience\n\nAbility to work well with a wide range of people and related diversity\n\nSkilled in analyzing audience to present material clearly, concisely, and effectively\n\nProficient presentation skills and the ability to handle classes; small or large and all issues that may arise\n\nOnline and in-person presence in the HVACR educational community (i.e., YouTube channel/Website, video creation/posting, HVACR online forum participation, industry educational conferences)\n\nRemote Work Arrangement:\nThis role is fully remote. As a remote colleague, you maybe requiredto travel to a Copeland site regularly to collaborate with your team or customers as needed.
