General Summary:
This position is responsible for preparing parts and equipment to be painted according to work orders.
Essential Job Functions:
- Wiping product down with thinner.
- Properly manage and dispose of all generated hazardous waste
- Masking off non-painted parts.
- Hang parts on racks forpainting.
- Skid units prior to paint.
- Assembly of parts prior to paint.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Prior paint preparation experience preferred.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent.
