Guided by our Purpose - Shape What Matters For Tomorrow™ - we pursue excellence, collaboration, and innovation to consistently shape solutions that best serve our associates, customers, communities, and other stakeholders.\nsolutions for their customers.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\nSales\nMeet or exceed annual sales and margin targets for the assigned region.\nDevelop account strategies to maximize sales of service products to major assigned accounts.\nWork with customers to identify spare parts needs and opportunities for upgrades, long-term maintenance, field service, process consulting, refurbishing, and modernization.\nInitiate, review, and approve firm quotations for assigned customers and follow up in accordance with department guidelines.\nMonitor the status of all open sales orders for assigned accounts.\nMaintain regular communication with assigned accounts and an overview of ongoing field service, upgrade, and expansion activities.\nCollaborate with the team to improve the quality of standard service quotations and correspondence.\nMonitor and document customer and competitor activity for assigned accounts in accordance with department policy.\nDevelop strategies to regain lost market share within assigned accounts.\nService\nCollaborate with sales, engineering, process, and field service teams to align company capabilities with customer needs and provide a consistent point of contact.\nAssume responsibility for coordinating service support for each machine within the assigned area.\nMaintain accurate information on the status of all Coperion equipment operating at assigned accounts.\nImprove the overall level of service provided to assigned accounts.\nSupervisory Responsibilities\nN/A\nSkills and Experience\nA minimum of five years of engineering, service, or sales experience with Coperion products or closely related products is preferred.\nAbility to read and interpret engineering reports, technical documentation, office procedures, and operating manuals.\nAbility to write clear, concise routine correspondence and comprehensive documents, including service agreements, studies, and proposals.\nAbility to communicate effectively with customers and employees.\nKnowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; familiarity with QAD and SAP is a plus.\nAbility to define problems, collect data, and draw valid conclusions.\nAbility to work independently.\nAbility to conduct market research and develop customer relationships.\nEducation\nCollege degree required; a degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering is preferred.\nTravel\n25%-50%\nPhysical Demands\nTo perform this job successfully, the physical demands listed are representative of those that must be met by an employee.
