This role also involves supporting process improvements, maintaining data accuracy, and assisting in month-end closing activities. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, solid understanding of AP procedures, and the ability to work effectively within a team.\nKey Responsibilities:\nManage Invoice Verification, Processing, Reporting on a Regular Basis.\nResolve Invoice Discrepancies by coordinating with purchase team and suppliers.\nPrepare and submit weekly/monthly reports and assist in month end closing\nExposure on review of Vendor Aging & ensuring that the payment of invoices is completed timely and in accordance with payment term.\nEmail Management & Stake holder Management (Internal/External)\nKnowledge on Month End activities related to Accounts Payables such as RNV/GRIR Reconciliation, Subledger to GL reconciliation, support R2R team with accruals, etc.\nEnsure adherence to internal controls, SOX regulations, and company policies\nAssist in audit preparations and audits related to accounts payable.\nAssist in streamlining and improving the accounts payable process.\nPerform other duties as assigned by the Accounts Payable Manager.\nTeam:\nThis role will be setup in the Hillenbrand Global shared service Organization - Coimbatore, India. This role will have the opportunity to work with and learn from teams that are geographically diverse (Asia, Europe, and North America)\nBasic Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.\n3+ years of experience in accounts payable or general accounting.\nKnowledge of general accounting procedures.\nExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills.\nProficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.\nKnowledge of any accounting software will be an added advantage.\nStrong organizational skills and ability to prioritize workload in order to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.\nBe able to demonstrate attention to details and good-record-keeping.\nWho we are:\nHillenbrand (www.hillenbrand.com) is a global industrial company that provides highly engineered, mission-critical processing equipment and solutions to customers in over 100 countries around the world.
