These solutions play a critical role in protecting people and infrastructure around the world.\nThe Electro-Mechanical Technician will be responsible for the rapid manufacturing of sub-assemblies and finished systems. The day to day could cover a variety of assembly types that include cables, harnesses, panels, mechanical assemblies, or large system builds. In addition to assembly, this role will be expected to participate in system troubleshooting and diagnostics. They will often interact with test technicians and engineering to resolve technical issues. In this role the technician will need to comprehend assembly documentation, safely and properly utilize required tooling, operate material handling equipment, record system information, adhere to company policies, and interact positively with other team members. Some finished systems could be large and require someone who can physically maneuver around the product. The ideal candidate will be a positive, energetic, self-motivating individual who is ready to learn and contribute to the mission.\nPrimary Responsibilities:\nTroubleshoot technical issues with varying level of complexity\nHave a working knowledge of electrical theory and signal processing\nRead and interpret work instructions, drawings, schematics, and other production related documentation\nSolder wires, PCBA’s, and components\nUtilize a combination of basic hand tools and power tools\nUtilize measuring tools such as multi-meters, continuity checker, Oscilloscopes, etc.\nProvide assembly feedback and suggested changes or improvements\nComplete build records and documentation as required\nConducts quality checks on own work and may execute buddy checks on others work\nMaintain workspace cleanliness and organization utilizing 5S methodologies\nFollow manufacturing guidelines and procedures\nAdhere to company regulatory and compliance policies\nParticipate in cross-training activities\nRequired Qualifications:\n2+ years’ experience in manufacturing or research and development (R&D)\nHigh school diploma or equivalent\nAdditional years of experience will be considered in lieu of education\nMust have the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance (US citizenship required)\nComfortable working with heights (15+ feet) & working outside with varying weather conditions\nActive driver’s license required \nESD Awareness\nAverage computer skills used for daily employee tasks\nCompetencies:\nAttention to detail and quality conscious\nDrive and ambition to execute and complete work in timely manner\nPersonal sense of integrity, trust, and respect\nStrong interpersonal skills used to set and maintain positive culture\nPreferred Qualifications:\nCurrent or expired certification in any of the following: IPC 620, 610, 7711, 7721, or J-standard\nWhat We Offer\nWe value the dedication and contributions of our employees and are committed to supporting both professional success and personal well-being.
