# Manufacturing Engineer

Analogic is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to work for the Homeland business unit in Vista, CA. The Homeland business unit at Analogic designs and manufactures highly complex security equipment for use at border crossings, airports, seaports, and other transportation mechanisms. Our products include radiation detectors and spectrometers, X-ray and gamma ray scanners for cars, trucks and trains, and CT explosives detection equipment for airline passenger baggage. The Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for supporting the manufacturing of a variety of products (Radiation Portal Monitoring Equipment & VACIS Non-Intrusive Inspection Systems) and develop processes that ensure a consistent and quality focused approach to product manufacturing. This position requires a comfort level working on the shop floor, side by side with our manufacturing and service teams. This role will solve daily production challenges, support the production schedule, and drive ongoing production improvements.
