This role works closely with Manufacturing and Engineering to identify defects, maintain accurate records, support investigations, and ensure products meet drawings, specifications, procedures, customer requirements, and applicable quality standards.\nKey Responsibilities\nPerform in-process, and final inspections of electronic components, printed circuit board assemblies, subassemblies, and finished products.\nVerify workmanship and product conformity using drawings, bills of material, specifications, work instructions, inspection plans, and acceptance criteria.\nUse measuring and test equipment such as calipers, micrometers, multimeters, microscopes, gauges, and other inspection tools.\nDocument inspection and test results accurately in quality records, databases, and production systems.\nIdentify, segregate, and document nonconforming material; initiate or support nonconformance reports and material review activities.\nAssist with root cause investigations, corrective and preventive actions, defect trend analysis, and verification of corrective actions.\nSupport process audits, product audits, and qualification or validation activities.\nCommunicate quality issues promptly and collaborate with Production, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Quality personnel to resolve them.\nParticipate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on reducing defects, rework, scrap, and process variation.\nRequired Qualifications\nHigh school diploma or equivalent.\nAt least two years of electronics manufacturing, or related technical experience.\nAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, bills of material, specifications, and work instructions.\nWorking knowledge of electronic components, printed circuit board assembly, soldering workmanship, and common manufacturing defects.\nBasic computer skills and the ability to enter, retrieve, and review quality data accurately.\nStrong attention to detail, organization, communication, and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.\nPreferred Qualifications\nAssociate degree or technical certificate in electronics, engineering technology, quality, or a related field.\nExperience in CAPA, RCA, and corrective action systems.\nExperience with SAP, WindChill, Agile\nWork Environment and Physical Requirements\nThis position is based in an electronics manufacturing environment and may require extended periods of standing or sitting, frequent use of a microscope and computer, handling small components, and wearing required personal protective equipment or electrostatic discharge protection. The employee must be able to perform close visual inspection and safely lift and move materials consistent with site requirements.
