The House Supervisor is the on-site administrative representative and clinical manager that acts as a clinical resource while providing leadership, education, problem solving and decision making accountability for all departments. This role collaborates with Unit Leadership, staff and senior leadership in a dynamic, multidisciplinary manner to achieve positive outcomes by ensuring compliance with all applicable State and Federal laws, regulations, and policies governing the provision of health care and Copley Hospital.\nThe House Supervisor plans for, leads, coordinates, and facilitates the provision of quality care and service from a hospital wide, shift specific perspective in a manner that fosters accomplishment of the organization's goals and objectives.\nThe House Supervisor is responsible for issues related to staffing, patient/family relations, risk management, clinical coordination, patient placement, public affairs and communications, evaluation. education and mentoring. Ensures appropriate distribution and allocation of supplies/equipment and provides for adequate numbers and mix of staff to deliver appropriate clinical services to the patients served.\nThis is a Full-Time position (PT available).\nCopley Hospital has a variety of shifts available across Full-Time, Part-Time, and Per Diem needs. An offer of employment may be outside of the posted range based on those factors.\nResponsibilities\nActively participates in the planning of departmental & house-wide program development\nAssist staff to develop communication skills\nAssists in the identification of education needs for the department and participates in education offerings.\nAssumes direct responsibility for supervision of all hospital personnel on assigned shiftAssumes authorization to remove medications from designated areas and to access the pyxis to refill pockets as needed when pharmacy is closed\nAssumes responsibility for engaging in the process of self evaluation and mutual evaluation with the Senior Director of Patient Care Services\nAssumes responsibility for maintaining Critical Access Hospital Designation\nAssures that staff utilize computerization functions appropriately and accurately\nCollaborates with the education department to meet educational needs of staff.\nCommunicates and demonstrates support for departments’ annual plans and goals\nCommunicates and supports organization’s mission, vision and goals\nConsistently displays a collaborative leadership style.Acts as a role model\nDemonstrates awareness of department specific PI activities and or initiatives identified by department heads\nDemonstrates awareness of house-wide specific PI activities and or initiatives identified by the leadership.\nDemonstrates excellent communication and work collaboratively with physicians.\nDemonstrates knowledge of RN union contact and supports the NM by implementing it.\nDevelops an active and collaborative relationship with all departments.\nDocuments own record of attendance at educational offerings.\nFacilitates unit/department program efforts by ensuring the effective implementation of department programs by working closely with staff and the multidisciplinary team.\nIdentifies program and systems problems;
