The Business Systems Analyst supports the organization’s business and technology needs by working with customers to resolve issues and optimize their use of CPSI, eClinicalWorks, and other systems. In addition, the Business Analyst gathers requirements and defines technological solutions to take advantage of new tools. An added role is the strategic planning, design and implementation of custom reports and data analysis to support the project goals and objectives of the business systems and EMR initiatives. This position will participate in the data analytics development cycle to provide useful reports and information that supports business and clinical workflow and the analysis of financial and clinical data entered into the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).\nThis is a Full-Time position (PT available).\nCopley Hospital has a variety of shifts available across Full-Time, Part-Time, and Per Diem needs with day and evening shift availability. An offer of employment may be outside of the posted range based on those factors.\nResponsibilities\nProvides customer support and training.Identifies and develops solutions to business issues\nOptimizes end customers’ utilization of available tools\nAssists with the development of training programs\nAssists customers in the development of ad hoc reports\nAdvises customers on data structure and terminology\nProvides on-call support and staffing of the help desk\n\nProvides business application and end customer tool support for CPSI, eClinicalWorks and other systems.Gathers business requirements in preparation for implementation of new solutions\nServes on Performance/Process Improvement teams and application Core Teams\nServes as a support resource for all business application issues\nWorks effectively with vendors to resolve business application issues\nUnderstands the data structure of the enterprise system to facilitate query and reporting\n\nIdentifies and facilitates business operations improvementsContinually examines opportunities for standardization and consolidation of operations for efficiency of service\nPerforms project planning and execution for IT initiatives\nAnalyzes costs and benefits of specific IT initiatives\n\nAssists in daily operations of Information Technology servicesServes as back up for the IT Business Systems [Coordinator/ Supervisor/ Manager]\nPerforms other related duties as requested by IT leaders\n\nQualifications\nEducation:\nBachelors degree in IT, business or related field;
