You will work directly with our internal clients and vendors to install our interface engine, build interfaces and work-flows, and troubleshoot complicated system issues. You will also perform complex data migration and conversion projects including scripting automated reports and processes. The ability to investigate and troubleshoot work-flows and processes across departments will be critical to your success. Time management, problem solving and excellent communication skills will be key in meeting project expectations.\nThis is a Full-Time position (PT available).\nCopley Hospital has a variety of shifts available across Full-Time, Part-Time, and Per Diem needs. An offer may vary based on factors such as experience, education, skills, internal equity, and market data. An offer of employment may be outside of the posted range based on those factors.\nResponsibilities\nAnalyze, coordinate, develop, test, and maintain clinical and operational systems exchanging data via HL7, DICOM, and other interface protocols.\nSupport proprietary and industry standard interfaces between clinical equipment, servers, software and outside entities.\nProvide support for electronic medical records system interfaces including configuration and troubleshooting.\nProvide education to staff embers regarding process changes and work-flow modifications related to interface installations and upgrades.\nProvide electronic medical records system training to individuals and/or groups in formal or informal settings.\nCommunicate changes or new initiatives and key issues to supervisors, physicians, and staff.\nAssume special projects as directed and document them appropriately.\nAttend meetings and seminars as directed.\nProvide after hours on-call and help desk coverage in accordance with department rotation.\nProvide support for all clinical and business applications as well as network, server and user hardware.\nOther duties as assigned by the Vice President of Information Technology or the Development Manager.\nQualifications\nExperience Requirements: Minimum two years clinical interface engineering experience and two years with a healthcare client or a healthcare related environment. Complex project management experience desired.\nLicense Requirements: None\nCertification Desired: CorePoint, Rhapsody, Cloverleaf, or Mirth.\nSkill Requirements: In depth knowledge of EMRs. Experience administering interfaces. Experience with database and programming languages.\nSkills Desired: Excellent customer service skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team with staff at various levels. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Attention to detail.
