This position will sit on-site in Fayetteville at our Cotton Mill location.\nWHAT we need you to do.\nAnalyze, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and increase product quality.\nCollaborate with Production, Maintenance, Quality, and Engineering teams to implement process improvements and troubleshoot issues.\nLead root cause analysis and corrective action efforts for process deviations and production challenges.\nDesign and execute experiments to validate process changes and new technologies.\nSupport capital projects and equipment installations, ensuring proper integration with existing systems.\nDocument and maintain process standards, procedures, and best practices.\nEvaluate and implement automation opportunities to reduce labor and increase repeatability.\nUtilize Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies to drive measurable results.\nMonitor and report key process KPIs and provide insight into trends and opportunities.\nStay current on new manufacturing technologies, materials, and industry advancements.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nWHAT you need to possess.\nBachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or Chemical Engineering required.\nMinimum of 3-5 years of experience in a process or manufacturing engineering role, preferably in a high-volume or industrial setting.\nStrong understanding of manufacturing processes, production systems, and process optimization techniques.\nExperience with Lean, Six Sigma, 5S, or other continuous improvement methodologies.\nProficient in data analysis, root cause investigation, and technical reporting.\nHands-on experience with manufacturing equipment, tooling, and automation systems.\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable working cross-functionally on the shop floor and in meetings.\nProficient in Microsoft Office; experience with CAD, Minitab, or similar tools is a plus.\nStrong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and results-oriented mindset.\nWHY Copperweld?\nSTRONG Business Outlook\nComprehensive Medical, Dental and Vision Plans\nPAID Time off & Holidays\n401k matching\nLife and Disability Insurance\n Employer Assistance Program\nCopperweld is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
