High school diploma or equivalent.\nFurther Training\nVocational training preferred.\nCFC certificate and apprentice license preferred.\nProfessional Experience\nMinimum of three years relevant work experience in a facilities, maintenance or building technician role.\nComputer Skills\nBasic PC skills and ability to learn company specific software.\nAbility to adapt to new or changing software programs.\nProficiency in automated work order systems: Maximo preferred.\nMobility - N/A\nOther Requirements\nAbility to routinely perform on call and off hour duty including evenings, weekends and holidays and to be available and respond accordingly during these periods when so assigned.\nMust possess a valid driver’s license and ability to operate a motor vehicle.\nBasic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, systems, control and construction.\nGood verbal and written communication skills.\nStrong organizational skills.\nStrong - interpersonal skills to effectively interact with tenants, suppliers and other technicians\nAbility to understand and utilize various testing devices.\nBasic knowledge of energy management systems and building VAV systems.\nRequired to carry and maintain appropriate government credentials.\nEQUIPMENT OPERATION\nStandard office equipment including PC, telephone, copier, fax machine, printer, etc.\n\nMotor vehicle, testing devices, hand tools, power tools, etc.\n\nPay Range: $53,000 -
