This role develops & maintains product performance standards, establishes budgets, and leads & supports continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing processes, quality systems, cost control, automation, and workforce effectiveness within a textile manufacturing environment.\nKey Responsibilities\nManufacturing Performance Standards & Continuous Improvement\nSupport division manufacturing objectives for improving quality, delivery, and cost through implementation and improvement of industrial engineering systems, including:\nProduct Performance Standards for Productivity and Yield\nAnnual Budgets for Machine Hours, Labor, Materials, and Overhead.\nMaterials Handling optimization\nCost reduction planning and productivity improvement\nEmployee involvement initiatives\nWage administration support\nIndustrial Engineering technology application and management training\nIndustrial Engineering human resource planning\nCost Reduction & Cost Control\nLead and manage cost reduction initiatives related to improving quality, productivity, and operational efficiency.\nMaintain and enhance manufacturing cost control systems to support plant and division objectives.\nAnalyze labor, material, overhead, and process costs; recommend and implement corrective actions.\nAutomation & Technology\nApply automated manufacturing solutions where appropriate to solve quality, delivery, and cost challenges.\nEvaluate, recommend, and assist with the installation of electronic monitoring and control systems.\nEnsure systems deliver measurable improvements in efficiency, quality, and data visibility.\nCustomer Service & Production Flow\nSupport delivery performance and productivity through implementation of JIT manufacturing principles.\nSupport manufacturing scheduling, inventory reduction, and throughput improvement initiatives.\nProfessional Development & Best Practices\nStay current with industrial engineering trends, tools, and best practices relevant to textile manufacturing.\nRecommend changes in policies, procedures, and engineering practices to improve overall plant performance.\nRequired Qualifications\nEducation\nBachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.\nExperience\n3-7 years of industrial engineering experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably within textile, apparel, or high-volume manufacturing operations.\nDemonstrated experience with cost reduction, process improvement, quality systems, and production optimization.\nTechnical Skills\nStrong knowledge of:\nIndustrial engineering principles and methods\nLean manufacturing and JIT systems\nStatistical analysis and quality tools\nWork measurement and labor standards\nManufacturing cost control systems and budgets development.\nAutomation and manufacturing monitoring/control technologies\nTextile manufacturing and processes preferred but not required\nProficiency in data analysis tools, spreadsheets, and manufacturing systems (ERP/MES preferred).\nCore Competencies\nAnalytical thinking and problem solving\nContinuous improvement
