The Senior Communications Designer combines strong design craft with strategic thinking, balancing polished execution, operational discipline and thoughtful collaboration in fast-paced, high-visibility environments. The final work should feel custom and considered, not auto-generated.\nWho We're Looking For\nStrategic thinker capable of translating complex ideas into clear, persuasive design for senior audiences.\nConfident communicator with a point of view who asks the right questions and pushes on what could be better.\nSelf-directed and organized, thrives in fast-turn environments with multiple priorities.\nFluent in modern creative and AI-assisted workflows while maintaining a high standard of craft and originality.\nResponsibilities\nLead the design and execution of pitch decks, finalist presentations, capabilities materials and trends presentations for new business development initiatives.\nDesign long-form proposal documents and collateral, including infographics, data visualizations, icons and custom presentation assets.\nPartner closely with proposal writers, marketing and communications teams and company leadership to shape visual narrative structure and presentation flow.\nSupport marketing and communications initiatives through branded collateral, social graphics, email templates, reports and related materials.\nBuild and maintain presentation templates, asset libraries and design systems that improve consistency, efficiency and scalability across teams and brands.\nPush the work forward by experimenting with new tools, formats and approaches, and bringing the best of them into how the team operates.\nRequirements\nBachelor's degree in graphic design, visual communication or related field preferred.\n5-7+ years of design experience, ideally within an agency, marketing, communications or B2B services environment.\nStrong portfolio demonstrating presentation design, proposal collateral, visual storytelling and communications materials for senior audiences (portfolio required).\nExpert proficiency in presentation design tools and Adobe Creative Suite.\nStrong data visualization and infographic skills; the ability to make complex information clear at a glance.\nFluency with motion/animation tools and AI-assisted creative platforms.\nAbility to create interactive or web-based content formats (landing pages, microsites, digital documents); comfort with Figma or similar tools a plus.\nExperience within travel, tourism, hospitality or destination marketing environments is a plus.\nFinalists will complete a short design assessment (2-3 hours) as part of the final interview round.\nCompensation: $75,000-$80,000\nComprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision\n\n401k-matching contribution\n\nGenerous paid-time-off compensation\n\nFlexible work schedule\n\nPaid volunteer opportunities and company-supported charitable events\n\nCollaborative, creative, and fun team environment with professional growth opportunities\n\nWork Location and Travel\nThis is a primarily remote position for U.S.-based candidates, with optional hybrid or in-office opportunities in Lakewood, Colorado, and Sarasota, Florida.\n\nExpected travel: 10-25%, including new business pitches and team gatherings\n\nABOUT MILES PARTNERSHIP\nMiles Partnership is a strategic marketing consultancy focused exclusively on travel and tourism.
