Every person here has a voice, ships meaningful work, and helps shape how AI can make the world safer and more connected.\nThe role:\nWe’re looking for an experienced, hands-on Senior Accounting Manager to own and scale our accounting operations as Coram continues to grow across the U.S., UK, and India.\nYou’ll work closely with the Head of Finance to own the month-end close, financial reporting, revenue recognition, inventory accounting, and internal controls. You’ll also lead the accounting side of our transition from QuickBooks to NetSuite, prepare the company for its first external audit, and manage our Finance Manager.\nThis is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys building and improving processes, embraces AI and automation, and wants to grow with the company. For the right person, there is a clear path to Controller.\nResponsibilities:\nOwn and continuously improve the month-end close process, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting\n\nOversee financial statements, reconciliations, journal entries, and reporting in accordance with US GAAP\n\nManage revenue recognition (ASC 606), inventory accounting, COGS, and hardware/software revenue arrangements\n\nBuild and strengthen internal controls, accounting policies, and scalable financial processes\n\nLead the accounting side of our NetSuite implementation as we transition from QuickBooks\n\nPrepare the organization for its first external financial statement audit\n\nManage and develop our Finance Manager, supporting accounting operations across the U.S., UK, and India\n\nPartner closely with the Head of Finance on accounting strategy, reporting, and operational improvements\n\nLeverage AI, automation, and modern accounting technologies to streamline workflows and reduce manual processes\n\nRemain hands-on, taking ownership of complex accounting issues and critical deliverables\n\nSkills and qualifications:\n6-9 years of progressive accounting experience, beginning in public accounting (Big 4 or national firm) followed by industry experience\n\nProven experience owning the month-end close, managing revenue recognition under ASC 606, and participating in external audits\n\nStrong technical accounting knowledge, including US GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls\n\nDemonstrated career progression through promotions, expanded responsibilities, or increasing scope\n\nExperience managing or mentoring at least one accounting or finance team member\n\nStrong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to independently resolve complex accounting issues\n\nComfortable leveraging AI, automation, and technology to improve accounting processes\n\nHigh ownership, strong communication skills, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment\n\nAbility to work onsite in Sunnyvale five days per week\n\nNice-to-haves:\nActive CPA license\n\nExperience in a high-growth technology or startup environment\n\nHardware accounting experience, including inventory, COGS, and bundled hardware/software revenue\n\nExperience implementing NetSuite or another ERP system\n\nExperience supporting multi-entity or international accounting operations, particularly in the UK or India\n\nFamiliarity with ASC 842, ASC 718, and capitalized software accounting\n\nExperience preparing a company for its first external audit\n\nExperience using AI and automation to modernize accounting workflows\n\nWhat we offer:\n100% Employer-paid medical, dental, vision, and base life insurance\n\nFlexible paid time off and 10 paid holidays\n\n401(k) with both Traditional and Roth options\n\nEarly-stage equity in a rapidly growing company\n\nReferral bonuses\n\nDaily team dinners and regular team off-sites\n\nThe latest Apple products and unlimited tech stack (Claude Cowork, Perplexity Computer, Nooks, Clay, Instantly, etc.\n\nWe're on a mission to transform a $50B+ legacy industry by bringing the power of cutting-edge multimodal LLMs and computer vision to real-world security and operations.
