These roles will suit experienced engineering and project professionals who enjoy leading complex work, guiding teams and delivering outcomes in high-assurance environments. \nYou’ll play a key role supporting Australia’s naval nuclear capability, working with Defence and industry stakeholders to deliver technically complex projects where safety, assurance and disciplined execution are critical. \nYou will be responsible for: \nLeading the delivery of complex engineering and project activities across high-profile Defence programs \nManaging multidisciplinary teams, supporting technical delivery and ensuring project outcomes are achieved \nProviding oversight, direction and decision-making support in highly regulated, high-consequence environments \nBuilding trusted relationships with Defence, industry and technical stakeholders \nApplying engineering, project management and assurance principles to solve complex capability challenges \nOur Ideal Candidate: \nYou’re an experienced engineering or project professional who thrives in complex environments. You bring the confidence to lead teams, manage stakeholders and make sound decisions while balancing technical, operational and delivery requirements. \nYou will bring: \nExperience leading engineering projects, complex delivery programs, or technical work packages within Defence, maritime, infrastructure or another high-assurance environment \nA background in engineering, project management, or a combination of both \nDemonstrated experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams and delivering outcomes against challenging requirements \nThe ability to engage confidently with senior technical, operational and executive stakeholders \nStrong judgement and problem-solving skills, with the ability to operate effectively in regulated environments \nClear communication skills and the ability to translate complex technical information into practical outcomes \nHaving these other abilities would also be awesome (but not mandatory): \nExperience supporting naval, submarine, maritime or other complex Defence capability programs \nExperience with engineering assurance, systems engineering, safety management or complex asset delivery \nNuclear experience or qualifications, including NSQEP credentials \nExposure to nuclear capability, nuclear safety, assurance, governance or regulatory environments \nAs we are a Defence consultancy, you must also have the ability to obtain and maintain an AGSVA security clearance. \nWhy join Coras?\nCoras prides itself on being a management consultancy with a difference.
