This position also troubleshoots and conducts minor upkeep/maintenance of equipment.\nEssential Job Functions: \nPackage lactic acid (in different concentrations) and its derivatives, complete required documentation, make labels, and clean the fill lines.\nOperate and conduct minor maintenance/trouble shooting of the packaging equipment, floor scales, conveyor and wrapper machines.\nEnter information into WMS system and the Mettler Toledo machine.\nMaintain safe work environment by maintaining cleanliness standards and operating the equipment and utilities in a safe manner.\nReceive empty packaging containers from trucks, verify counts, make appropriate transactions into ERP LX and WMS systems, apply correct documentation/labels and move product to proper storage locations.\nPerform cycle count functions of finished goods and raw material product, utilizing ERP LX and WMS systems and following written instructions.\nExecute QESH standards to ensure personal and product safety and quality.\nPerform within the guidelines of all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's), Security measures, Housekeeping, Hazard Analysis & Critical Control Point (HACCP), all quality, regulatory, environmental, safety and health guidelines and regulations. These standards are used in all daily activities to ensure product safety and quality are in compliance. \nQualifications\nHigh School Diploma or GED required.\nMust be competent in basic mathematics, calculating and computer skills.\nMinimum 1 year experience in liquids packaging or in a filling operation, preferred.\nAbility to operate and troubleshoot machinery and equipment including Forklift.\nAbility to interpret routine production operating procedures\nGeneral Working Environment\nFill Room Technicians are required to work in a plant, with some tasks taking place outside of the plant. \nFill Room Technicians will fill and package Lactic Acid and will have to wear the appropriate PPE including but not limited to hard hats, safety glasses, safety boots, chemical suits, face-shields, rubber gloves, hair nets, aprons and uniform clothing.\nTemperature inside and outside the facility will range between -15oF and 120oF depending on location and the activities involved. \nUsual Physical Activities \nThrough the course of a typical shift an individual in this position will perform the following activities;\nMust be able to perform moderately heavy physical activity 25% to 50% of time and lift weight up to 50lbs\nMust be able to lift or pull heavy objects daily, in excess of 50lbs\nProlonged Standing, 20% of the time\nWalks extensively, 20% of the time\nKneels, \nBends, repetitively\nSquatting, repetitively\nReaches above and below the shoulders,\nTraverses plant levels via stairs, frequently\nCorrected vision, speaking ability, and hearing are usually involved in performing written and verbal job functions.\nAbout Corbion\nCorbion is a sustainable ingredients company dedicated to preserving what matters, including food and food production, health, and the planet.
