We are looking for a Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor to join our Maintenance team and help drive operational excellence through safe, reliable, and cost-effective maintenance execution.\nThe Opportunity\nAs Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor, you will lead a team of mechanical technicians and contractors to ensure the safe and effective execution of both planned and unplanned maintenance activities. Reporting to the Shift Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining equipment reliability, supporting plant operations, and ensuring maintenance activities are completed to the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.\nYou will supervise a team of four Mechanical Maintenance Technicians and work closely with Operations, Reliability, Engineering, and external service providers to support the performance of a complex chemical manufacturing facility.\nKey Responsibilities\nSafety, Quality & Compliance\nChampion a strong safety culture and ensure all maintenance activities are executed in full compliance with Corbion's EHS standards, policies, and procedures.\n\nPromote safe work practices and actively participate in site safety initiatives and improvement programs.\n\nEnsure compliance with Quality, Environmental, and Occupational Health & Safety Management Systems, including ISO standards and regulatory requirements.\n\nContribute to risk assessments, incident investigations, and corrective action implementation.\n\nMaintenance Planning & Scheduling\nPlan and coordinate manpower, tools, equipment, and contractor resources to support effective maintenance execution.\n\nEnsure scheduled maintenance activities are completed according to plan and prioritize resources to address operational requirements.\n\nSupport contractor selection and supervision to ensure quality, safety, and cost-effectiveness.\n\nRaise and coordinate purchase requisitions for mechanical spare parts, services, and maintenance materials to ensure timely availability.\n\nMaintenance Execution & Equipment Reliability\nLead maintenance technicians and contractors in the execution of preventive, predictive, corrective, and emergency maintenance activities.\n\nCoordinate maintenance work related to equipment installation, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, shutdowns, turnarounds, and plant outages.\n\nEnsure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to required quality standards.\n\nProvide mechanical expertise and support root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.\n\nCollaborate with the Reliability team by providing technical data, maintenance feedback, and equipment performance information.\n\nCMMS / SAP & Reporting\nEnsure maintenance activities are accurately documented in SAP/CMMS systems.\n\nReview and validate work requests, work orders, and maintenance records to maintain data accuracy and integrity.\n\nMonitor maintenance KPIs and prepare timely maintenance and shift reports.\n\nSupport planning and scheduling processes through accurate work order management and resource allocation.\n\nProject & Continuous Improvement Support\nProvide mechanical technical input and support for capital projects and plant improvement initiatives.\n\nContribute to equipment upgrades, reliability improvements, and maintenance optimization programs.\n\nSupport the implementation of best practices and continuous improvement methodologies.\n\nDocumentation & Audit Readiness\nMaintain equipment certification records and ensure documentation remains current and audit-ready.\n\nDevelop, review, and update maintenance procedures, work instructions, and technical documentation.\n\nSupport internal and external audits related to maintenance, quality, and safety systems.\n\nWhat You'll Bring\nDiploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline.\n\nMinimum 5 years of maintenance experience within a manufacturing, chemical, petrochemical, energy, or related industrial environment.\n\nExperience leading maintenance teams, contractors, or shift-based maintenance activities.\n\nStrong knowledge of mechanical maintenance practices, equipment troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance programs.\n\nExperience using CMMS platforms and SAP maintenance modules.\n\nKnowledge of reliability-centered maintenance, root cause analysis, or predictive maintenance techniques is advantageous.\n\nFamiliarity with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and related management systems.\n\nStrong leadership, communication, planning, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.\n\nAbility to work effectively in a dynamic 24/7 manufacturing environment.\n\nWhat We Offer\nAt Corbion, you'll join a purpose-driven organization committed to preserving what matters.
