In this role, you will monitor and control vinegar production processes ensure products are manufactured within required specifications for quantity, quality, timing, safety, and regulatory compliance. This position performs production sampling, nutrient batch preparation, physical inventories, laboratory work, data entry, tanker loading and unloading, and basic maintenance activities.\nEssential Functions\nMonitor production processes in the plant and remotely, based on the standard operating procedures, regulations, customer specifications and additional instructions of the supervisor. This includes start-up, operation, control, monitoring and regulation of processes and measuring (manually and via control equipment) and addition of raw and auxiliary materials.\nTake samples for in-process determinations or laboratory analysis.\nReceive and create Bill of Ladings for bulk shipments and print labels for finished goods.\nKeep production facilities in operational condition to achieve minimum loss of productivity and maximum availability including cleaning activities in the buildings and grounds in accordance with documented procedures and regulations.\nComplete basic maintenance activities or enter work orders for their completion.\nHelp train co-workers in daily tasks.\nRegister data and hand over production processes to guarantee optimal progress of the process.\nExecute QESH standards per defined roles and responsibilities to ensure personal and product safety and quality.\nPerform within the guidelines of all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's), security measures, housekeeping, Hazard Analysis & Critical Control Point (HACCP), quality, regulatory, environmental, safety and health guidelines and regulations. These standards are used in all daily activities to ensure product safety and quality are in compliance. \nQualifications\nHigh School Diploma or GED.\n3+ years of experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or production environment preferred.\nProcess operator experience preferred.\nBasic computer skills, including Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) and BPCS.\nAbility to multi-task and work accurately in a production environment.\nMechanical aptitude and ability to perform basic maintenance tasks.\nForklift operation experience or ability to become qualified.\nLaboratory skills and ability to identify safety hazards.\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team.\nWorking Environment\nWork is performed in a manufacturing plant environment with large open floor areas, loud machinery, and exposure to production equipment and raw materials. The role may require work in elevated temperatures during summer months and colder environments during winter months.
