In this role, you will drive operational and financial performance across the four Corbion Manufacturing Sites in North America and two blending sites in Mexico and Brazil. As a strategic business partner to the site directors, you will act as a catalyst for value creation, delivering actionable insights from financial and operational data, challenging assumptions, and enabling informed decision-making that drives sustainable growth, optimized cost, and improved cash flow. You will lead a team of manufacturing controllers, ensuring alignment between strategy and operational execution.\nResponsibilities Include:\nBusiness Partnering\nServe as a trusted advisor to the site director and leadership team.\nProactively challenge assumptions and drive informed decision making to improve profitability, cost structure and cash flow.\nTranslate operational strategies into financial plans, KPIs, and performance metrics.\nProvide site P&L leadership: efficiency, utilization, labor productivity, maintenance effectiveness and other cost optimization initiatives.\nCritically evaluate footprint changes, capacity expansions, insourcing/outsourcing, develop capex business cases and post-investment reviews.\nDrive optimal inventory levels and own inventory valuation and provision.\nTeam Leadership & Development\nLead and develop the team of manufacturing controllers of the respective manufacturing sites.\nFoster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.\nAlign team efforts with organizational objectives and support professional growth.\nPerformance Management & Insights\nDrive forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning.\nDeliver timely, relevant and actionable insights through advanced analytics and business intelligence tools (SAP S/4HANA, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), Fabric, Power BI), translating complex financial data into clear, impactful recommendations.\nProactively identify, validate and track opportunities for cost optimization, productivity, working capital improvement, and strategic investment ensuring benefits land in P&L and cash.\nMonitor and report on manufacturing performance, highlighting risks and opportunities.\nSupport the Director Business Control Manufacturing on projects and/or ad-hoc assignments.\nStakeholder Engagement\nCollaborate cross-functionally with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Commercial teams to align financial goals with strategic priorities.\nContribute to global finance transformation, standardization, and best-practice sharing.\nInfluence senior stakeholders through clear, concise financial narratives.\nCollaborate with Financial Accounting teams to ensure timely accurate and complete financial records\nGovernance & Compliance\nEnsure adherence to financial policies, internal controls, and regulatory requirements.\nSupport internal/external audits and uphold high standards of financial integrity and transparency.\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.\n6+ years of manufacturing finance experience including as a business partner to leadership.\nExpertise in financial, manufacturing, and supply chain processes.\nProven track record as a Finance Business Partner to site management and senior corporate stakeholders.\nProficiency in SAP (S/4HANA), BI and planning tools (SAP Analytics Cloud, Fabric, Power BI) and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.\nBusiness acumen and proactive, hands-on approach.\nConfident and assertive, with the ability to challenge and influence stakeholders.\nStrong analytical, organizational, and planning skills.\nDetail-oriented with the ability to simplify and communicate complex financial information.\nComfortable navigating ambiguity and complex challenges.\nContinuous improvement mindset and openness to change.\nResilient under pressure and able to meet tight deadlines.\nOur offer\nThe anticipated compensation range for this position is $140,000 to $200,000. The final pay offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of experience within the job, the type years of and experience within the industry, education, etc. Please note, Corbion is a multi-state employer, and this pay scale may not reflect positions that work in other states or locations.
