If you’re ready to advance your career and work on meaningful projects, we want to hear from you!\nResponsibilities\nCollaborates with other engineers, drafters, and designers to prepare the required design, specifications, and details for assigned projects \nBecomes familiar with applicable standards and codes for use in completing designs. \nPerforms engineering work in connection with public works projects. \nAids in the preparation of engineering plans, specifications, and costs for the construction of streets, storm drains, parks, signals, buildings, and other capital improvement projects. \nAids in the preparation of engineering reports. \nCoordinates quality review processes. \nBecomes familiar with reading construction plans, maps, and reports. \nAids in the preparation of preliminary and final project cost estimates. \nAssists in field engineering and inspection as needed. \nPerforms assignments with instructions as to the general results expected. \nMaintains a positive working relationship with all levels of the organization. \nPerforms other duties as assigned. \nQualifications\nBachelor’s degree in civil engineering \nPE License in CA preferred, Engineer-In-Training Certificate for well qualified candidates will be considered. \n6 to 8 years of experience with transportation projects \nStrong written and verbal English language communication skills \nExperience with Civil3D (Alignments, profiles, pipe networks, surfaces, cross sections, plan production) \nFamiliar with Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) environment \nFamiliar with SharePoint \nExperience with Civil design, utility design, track design, and roadway design. \nPreferred:\nMaster’s Degree in civil engineering (counts as one year of experience) \nExperience with Vehicle Tracking software in Civil3D \nPrevious work on LA Metro projects \nExperience with Maintenance Facility Site design (Civil/Track) \nExperience collaborating on multi-discipline projects/teams \nExperience with modeling/analysis of corridors in Civil3D \nExperience with Advanced Utility Relocation plans \nSalary Range: $80,000 to $120,000 yearly\nLocation: Los Angeles, CAWork Environment: Hybrid with approx. 2 remote days weekly and 3 on-site days, downtown LA.\nOur Company\nCordoba Corporation, Making a Difference\nCordoba Corporation is a leading civil engineering, construction management, program management, and planning firm.
