The candidate will possess skills and experience with a variety of transportation projects, including roadway, civil, transit, utilities, and active transportation with local municipalities, county, state, and transit clients.\nResponsibilities\nLeads project teams, comprised of Cordoba staff and subconsultants, to successfully complete contract deliverables. \nManages scope, schedule, budget, and quality of contract deliverables. \nActively engages and partners with company leadership to secure repeat business and identify new business opportunities. \nParticipates in proposals and interviews as a technical leader. \nProvides project delivery oversight and accountability for assigned projects with a high degree of proficiency. \nEffectively communicates project and technical approach to solving engineering challenges. \nProvides ongoing mentoring, training, and support of internal technical team members. \nMaintains client and industry contacts and engages in professional industry organizations. \nEngages in recruiting and retention activities. \nMaintain a positive working relationship with all levels of the organization.\nPerforms other duties as assigned.\nQualifications\nBachelor’s degree in civil engineering\n15+ years’ experience performing professional engineering work\nCalifornia Professional Engineer (PE) license required\nKnowledge of overall transportation engineering processes and criteria (PS&E, PA/ED, Green Book, etc.)\nExperience with reviewing multi-disciplinary project deliverables, including utilities, traffic devices, roadway design, survey and right-of-way, geotechnical, and other typical transportation engineering elements \nPrinciples and practices of civil engineering and its application to transportation projects and construction\nMicrosoft proficiency in Office, PowerPoint, and MS Project\nBluebeam proficiency in Revu and Studio Sessions\nGeneral knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil3D\nDemonstrated knowledge and history of project management, including project metrics\nPrinciples of supervision, training, and performance evaluation\nExcellent verbal, graphical, and written communication skills with a variety of people and personalities\nPreferred Experience:\nWillingness to work occasional overtime as needed.\nExperience in large transportation engineering programs.\nExperience in large and complex utility relocations with multiple agencies.\nPerform additional responsibilities as assigned.\nOther position information:\nSalary Range: $145,000 - $225,000 per year.\nLocation: Downtown Los Angeles, CA.\nWork Environment: Hybrid with 3 days onsite at LA Metro Team office.\nTravel: occasional, 5-10% locally within LA County area.
