The role involves analyzing research results, preparing detailed reports, maintaining accurate documentation, and ensuring laboratory equipment functions optimally. Additionally, the Chemist II will participate in the validation and implementation of new research methods, proficiency testing, and overall laboratory maintenance and also manages laboratory operations during assigned shifts.\nDUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES\nConduct physicochemical analyses of petroleum products, chemicals, and crude oil following industry standards and guidelines.\nAnalyze research results and prepare comprehensive reports.\nMaintain accurate documentation and records of laboratory tests and equipment.\nMonitor and ensure the proper functioning of laboratory equipment.\nMaintain cleanliness and organization in the laboratory environment.\nAssist in the implementation and validation of new research methods.\nParticipate in proficiency testing programs to ensure accuracy and compliance.\nAuthorize research results and ensure data integrity.\nManage laboratory operations during assigned shifts.\nContinuously update knowledge and skills within the field.\nTo always respect and protect company and client confidentiality.\nPerform additional duties as assigned, demonstrating adaptability and a commitment to operational excellence.\nQUALIFICATIONS\nBachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.\nProven experience in a laboratory setting, preferably in the petroleum or chemical industry.\nAt least 2 years of experience working in an accredited laboratory environment.\nKnowledge of industry standards and testing methodologies.\nExperience with laboratory equipment operation and maintenance.\nFluent in written and spoken Polish.\nKnowledge of English (minimum B1).\nProficient in Microsoft Office applications.\nAbility to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks efficiently.\nCapability to share knowledge and expertise with colleagues.\nKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES\nStrong ability to interpret test results accurately and provide detailed analysis.\nFamiliarity with laboratory instruments and testing techniques.\nStrong organizational and multitasking skills.\nExcellent communication and interpersonal abilities.\nDetail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.\nMaintain strong relationships with clients through regular communication and problem resolution.\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team.\nCustomer-focused mindset with a proactive approach.\nHigh level of availability and flexibility.\nCOMPETENCIES\nExecution Excellence: deliver impact through practical problem-solving, finding practical solutions to navigate and overcome obstacles; engagement with stakeholders, achieving shared goals using effective interpersonal skills; and purposeful execution, implements actionable and adaptive plans to achieve results.\nPeople Advocacy: build human-centric organizational cultures that promote performance, productivity and wellbeing, navigating change, and holding the organization to ethical standards, ensuring ethical conduct and compliance, and mitigating people risks.\nData Literacy: analyse, interpret, and communicate operational data to derive actionable insights, inform decision-making, and operational improvements to achieve strategic business objectives.\nDigital Agility: utilize technology to enhance operational efficiency and prepare the organization to adopt digital practices.\nPeople Analytics: collecting and applying organizational and operational data to improve critical business outcomes\nLeading Self: has a self-awareness of how actions are perceived and how to respond to feedback.
