The position focuses on supporting business development activities, making data analyses, managing commercial data, contract administration, tender processes and providing commercial reports.\nThe Commercial Intelligence Analyst acts as a connecting link between Sales, Operations, Finance and customers and contributes to an efficient, professional and customer-oriented execution of commercial processes.\nDUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES\nSupporting the commercial organization in developing new business opportunities.\nPerforming market, customer and competitor analyses.\nMonitoring and analysing global and regional market developments, trends and commercial opportunities.\nIdentifying growth markets, emerging segments and potential new revenue streams.\nTranslating market developments into concrete commercial opportunities and actions for Sales and Business Development.\nPerforming market analyses per country, region, service and customer segment.\nPreparation of commercial intelligence reports for management.\nProviding Sales teams with targeted market, customer and competitor information.\nSupporting account plans and preparing strategic customer meetings.\nDeveloping target lists and concrete commercial action lists for local and regional sales teams.\nMonitor whether identified commercial opportunities are converted into sales activities, pipeline and revenue.\nCombining internal commercial data with external market information.\nDeveloping and maintaining commercial dashboards and management reports.\nAnalysing the existing customer portfolio, revenue development and offtake patterns.\nIdentifying cross-sell and upsell opportunities with existing customers.\nIdentify and prioritize customer segments with high growth potential.\nPreparing commercial presentations, quotations and customer proposals.\nBenchmarking competitors on price level, service, capacity and locations, among other things.\nDrafting, processing and administering customer contracts and commercial agreements.\nMonitoring contract terms, terms, and renewal dates\nMaintaining contract administration.\nCoordinating and supporting tender and quotation processes.\nQUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.\nThe requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.\nEDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE\nü Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Commercial Economics, International Business or a related field.\nGood command of the English language in word and writing.\n2 - 3 years of relevant work experience\nExperience within a commercial support function is an advantage.\nExperience with CRM systems, contract management or tender processes is an advantage.\nCOMPETENCIES\nStrong communication skills\nStrong analytical skills.\nGood knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.\nStrong organizational and administrative skills.\nAccurate and structured working method.\nCommercial insight\nAnalytical skills\nCustomer and result oriented.\nCore Laboratories, including all of its affiliated and related entities, is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to creating an inclusive environment for everyone.
