This role involves managing special assignments, troubleshooting uncommon field challenges, and ensuring compliance with all industry standards. The Inspector III is also responsible for training and mentoring junior staff, leading field operations when necessary, and acting as a subject matter expert. The job requires working in demanding environments, including confined spaces and at heights, and handling hazardous materials. Irregular shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, are part of the role.\nDUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES\nPerform and oversee all field sampling and inspection activities, including complex or uncommon tasks. \nConduct and verify advanced quantity measurements, cleanliness, and suitability checks. \nProvide expert guidance and technical support in challenging field situations. \nEnsure all procedures comply with industry regulations, client requirements, and internal policies. \nTrain and mentor new samplers and Inspectors. \nLead field teams and coordinate inspections efficiently. \nAct as a key liaison between field staff and management. \nParticipate in continuous professional development and industry certifications. \nContinuously update knowledge and skills within the field. \nTo always respect and protect company and client confidentiality. \nPerform additional duties as assigned, demonstrating adaptability and a commitment to operational excellence. \nQUALIFICATIONS\nMinimum high school/secondary education or equivalent. \nAt least five years of experience in inspection, sampling, or a related field. \nIn-depth knowledge of industry regulations, advanced inspection techniques, and safety compliance. \nExperience in leading teams and training new employees. \nValid Class B driving license with a satisfactory driving record. \nValid work permit for Bulgaria.\nStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently under pressure. \nCapability to share knowledge and expertise with colleagues. \nKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES\nGood verbal and written proficiency in Bulgarian (B1 level) and basic English (A2 level). \nAbility to perform basic mathematical calculations. \nStrong attention to detail and adherence to safety regulations. \nAbility to work independently and as part of a team. \nAwareness of hazardous material handling and transportation regulations. \nFamiliarity with laboratory sample handling and documentation. \nStrong teamwork skills and the ability to work in a physically demanding environment. \nHigh levels of conscientiousness, honesty, punctuality, accuracy, and attention to detail. \nWillingness to participate in training courses as required. \nProficient in Microsoft Office applications. \nCOMPETENCIES\nExecution Excellence: deliver impact through practical problem-solving, finding practical solutions to navigate and overcome obstacles; engagement with stakeholders, achieving shared goals using effective interpersonal skills; and purposeful execution, implements actionable and adaptive plans to achieve results. \nPeople Advocacy: build human-centric organizational cultures that promote performance, productivity and wellbeing, navigating change, and holding the organization to ethical standards, ensuring ethical conduct and compliance, and mitigating people risks. \nData Literacy: analyse, interpret, and communicate operational data to derive actionable insights, inform decision-making, and operational improvements to achieve strategic business objectives. \nDigital Agility: utilize technology to enhance operational efficiency and prepare the organization to adopt digital practices. \nPeople Analytics: collecting and applying organizational and operational data to improve critical business outcomes \nLeading Self: has a self-awareness of how actions are perceived and how to respond to feedback.
