This role leads and develops production staff, maintains workflow by setting up equipment and verifying materials, and ensures products meet design specifications and delivery timelines. The supervisor supports inventory control through Oracle transactions, communicates plant conditions to leadership, and upholds ethical practices.\nDUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES\nCreate and maintain a work environment that shows concern for its people and property, while promoting autonomy and growth of each individual employee.\n\nSet up and calibrate machines while verifying materials to maintain an efficient workflow and ensure jobs are completed on schedule.\n\nResponsible for the quality of all finished products ensuring they consistently meet established design specifications.\n\nProduce products with accuracy in alignment with sales orders and guidelines set by the Production Manager.\n\nPerform all responsibilities with a strong commitment to ethical and sound decision-making practices.\n\nLead and oversee lead hands and other gun shop personnel to ensure operational effectiveness.\n\nProvide training and development opportunities to support employee growth and performance.\n\nCommunicate regularly with the Production Manager regarding the overall condition and operations of the plant.\n\nServe as acting Gun Production Manager during periods of absence.\n\nCarry out assigned Oracle transaction tasks and maintain accurate inventory control.\n\nNotify Production Manager of the condition of the plant in all aspects.\n\nOracle transaction/Inventory control duty as assigned.\n\nOther duties as assigned.\n\nQUALIFICATIONS\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required.\n\n10 years’ experience in a machine shop and related industry.\n\n5+ years’ experience operating CNC machines and relevant experience.\n\nSupervisory or Team Lead experience required.\n\nBasic CNC machining class work or certificate preferred.\n\nJourneyman ticket in machining or millwright, or 5+ years’ experience operating CNC machines and relevant experience.\n\nKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\n\nAbility to write and read reports and blueprints.\n\nExcellent computer skills and ability to program CNC machines.\n\nA results-driven professional with a strong commitment to quality and customer satisfaction, capable of effectively motivating and guiding a team of dedicated employees.\n\nAbility to achieve goals in a timely, efficient manner.\n\nProficient in the use and application of measuring instruments, with a strong understanding of proper measurement techniques and tools.\n\nIntermediate with MS Word, Excel, and Oracle.\n\nCore Laboratories, including all of its affiliated and related entities, is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to creating an inclusive environment for everyone.
