This position requires operation of a Company Vehicle or a Personal Vehicle and such operation is done consistently more than 20% of the average work week. If selected for this position, Core & Main will run a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) report. A requirement of this position is an acceptable MVR report.\nMajor Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities\nDetermines appropriate method and equipment necessary to install pipe.\nProvides and installs custom HDPE piping systems and repair systems.\nElectro fuses and structure welds. Inspects and maintains fusion EQ.\nCommunicates with customers to assess needs.\nIdentifies installation and repair needs.\nDetermines if final product meets quality control standards.\nTransports equipment to job site. Operates field equipment and forklift.\nResponsible for 24 hour on-call repair emergencies.\nNature and Scope\nRefers complex, unusual problems to supervisor.\nUnder general supervision, exercises some judgment in accordance with well-defined policies, procedures, and techniques. Work typically involves regular review of output by a senior coworker or supervisor.\nWork Environment\nTypically in a comfortable environment but with regular exposure to factors such as temperature extremes, moving machinery, loud noises, and fumes, which may cause noticeable discomfort or a moderate risk of accident or illness.\nTypically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.\nRequires intermittent periods during which continuous physical exertion is required, such as walking, standing, stooping, climbing, lifting, and maneuvering material or equipment, some of which may be heavy (50+ pounds) or awkward.\n Minimum Qualifications\nMust be a minimum of 18 years of age or older\nMust pass pre-employment assessment(s) if applicable\nEducation and Experience\nHS Diploma or GED, strongly preferred. Specialized skills training/certification may be required.
