This position requires operation of a Company Vehicle or a Personal Vehicle and such operation is done consistently more than 20% of the average work week. If selected for this position, Core & Main will run a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) report. A requirement of this position is an acceptable MVR report.\nMajor Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities\nDetermines appropriate method and equipment necessary to install pipe.Provides and installs custom HDPE piping systems and repair systems.\nElectro fuses and structure welds. Inspects and maintains fusion EQ.\nCommunicates with customers to assess needs.\nIdentifies installation and repair needs.\nDetermines if final product meets quality control standards.\nTransports equipment to job site. Operates field equipment and forklift.\nResponsible for 24 hour on-call repair emergencies.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience in electro fuse and structure welding.\nCareer Level Dimensions\nTypical Training/Experience\nTechnical certification or associate degree may be required in some areas.\nGenerally 5-7 years of experience in a related area of responsibility.\nProblem Complexity\nMay modify processes to resolve situations.\nAutonomy\nUnder limited supervision, relies on experience and exercises independent judgment to determine the best approach to achieve desired outcomes.\nCourse of action is often determined by interpreting procedures and policies.
