Visit coreandmain.com to learn more.\nJob Summary\nPromotes and sells Core & Main services to meet sales targets and generate revenues and responds to customer needs and requirements. Maintains a high-level of customer service with existing customers and leverages relationships to expand business opportunities. Develops relationships with new clients by prospecting and responding to business development leads. Monitors and reviews customer sales activities and makes adjustments to processes and strategies as needed.\nMajor Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities\nProvides full-service support for existing customer base in assigned territory including sales and delivery.\nManages sales volume with an existing customer group and assists with prospecting to expand the customer base.\nServices and maintains orders to customers within assigned territory.\nParticipates in pricing for assigned accounts.\nWorks with DSM but requires autonomous decision making for outside territory.\nPartners with customers, vendors, credit, and A/R to resolve customer service issues.\nIdentifies customer products needs and consummates sales.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExternal sales experience.\nFamiliarity with technical product lines preferred.\nTypically requires BS/BA in a related discipline.\nMinimum Qualifications\nMust be a minimum of 18 years of age or older \nMust pass pre-employment assessment(s) if applicable \nEnvironmental Job Requirements\nTypically in a comfortable environment, but with some extremes such as: moving machinery, loud noises, and fumes, which may cause noticeable discomfort.\nTypically requires overnight travel 20% to 50% of the time.\nRequires intermittent periods during which continuous physical exertion is required, such as walking and standing for long periods of time.\nThis information indicates the general nature and level of work performed by associates in this role.
