Responsibilities:

  • Support the Special Security Officer (SSO) in administering and enforcing access controls for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIFs) in accordance with applicable security policies and procedures.
  • Process, verify, certify, and receive SCI visitor clearances and access authorizations in accordance with established security requirements.
  • Conduct SCI security briefings, indoctrinations, debriefings, and security training for military, government, and contractor personnel with SCI access.
  • Prepare, obtain, and maintain signed nondisclosure agreements and other required security documentation for personnel accessing SCI.
  • Provide guidance and administrative support for the processing and tracking of SCI position, eligibility, access, and related security requests for assigned military, government, and contractor personnel.
  • Maintain and update SCI security records, access documentation, training records, and other required security files to support accountability and compliance.
  • Conduct audits and inventories of classified materials to verify proper accountability, handling, storage, and disposition in accordance with applicable security requirements.
  • Conduct or support inspections of classified material storage areas, SCIFs, security containers, and associated facilities to identify deficiencies and verify compliance with established security standards.
  • Research applicable SCI security policies, regulations, directives, and procedures and prepare recommendations for improving classified material management and security practices.
  • Prepare security reports, assessments, policy recommendations, and other documentation related to SCI security operations, classified material management, SCIF compliance, and personnel security requirements.
  • Identify, document, and assist in resolving security deficiencies, discrepancies, and compliance issues affecting SCI access, classified material, personnel, or facilities.
  • Provide additional SCI security, personnel security, classified material management, and SSO support as required by individual Task Orders (TOs) and mission requirements.

Levels:

  • Junior: Minimum of one year of experience conducting analysis relevant to this Labor Category
  • Mid: Minimum of three (3) years of experience conducting analysis relevant to this Labor Category
  • Senior: Minimum of eight (8) years of experience conducting analysis relevant to this Labor Category
  • Expert: Minimum of twelve (12) years of experience conducting analysis relevant to this Labor Category

Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) security concepts, procedures, and processes associated with personnel access, facility security, classified material management, and Special Security Officer (SSO) operations.
  • Experience applying Intelligence Community (IC) and Department of Defense (DoD) security policies, classification guidelines, directives, and procedures governing SCI access, handling, storage, accountability, and protection of classified information.
  • Experience supporting SCI access control procedures, including verifying and processing personnel access requirements, certifying and receiving SCI visitor clearances, and maintaining accurate access documentation.
  • Experience supporting SCI security briefings, indoctrinations, debriefings, security training, and awareness activities for military, government, and contractor personnel.
  • Experience preparing, processing, and maintaining nondisclosure agreements, security forms, access documentation, training records, and other required SCI security records.
  • Experience providing administrative and procedural support for processing SCI position, eligibility, access, and related security requirements for assigned personnel.
  • Experience conducting audits, inventories, and accountability reviews of classified materials to verify proper handling, storage, control, and disposition in accordance with established security requirements.
  • Experience conducting or supporting inspections of SCIFs, classified material storage areas, security containers, and associated security equipment to identify deficiencies and verify compliance with applicable security standards.
  • Experience identifying, documenting, tracking, and assisting with the resolution of security discrepancies, deficiencies, and compliance issues involving personnel, classified materials, SCI access, or facilities.
  • Experience researching security regulations, directives, policies, and procedures and applying established requirements to resolve SCI security and classified material management issues.
  • Experience preparing clear, accurate, and concise security reports, assessments, correspondence, policy recommendations, and other documentation supporting SSO and SCI security operations.
  • Ability to evaluate information from multiple sources, identify discrepancies or inconsistencies, and apply sound judgment when determining appropriate security actions or recommendations.
  • Ability to communicate SCI security requirements, procedures, and complex security issues clearly and professionally to military, government, contractor, and customer personnel.
  • Experience working independently or with limited supervision to prioritize and complete SCI security, personnel access, classified material, and SCIF support requirements while adhering to established policies and procedures.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office applications, electronic records systems, databases, and other information management tools to maintain security records, track access and training requirements, produce reports, and support SSO operations.
  • Ability to maintain strict attention to detail, confidentiality, accountability, and compliance when handling SCI, classified materials, personnel security information, and other sensitive information.

Security Clearance:

  • TS/SCI Clearance

Salary Range: $60,000 - $135,000

This range reflects Core One Solutions' current good-faith estimate for this labor category based on proposed contract pricing and comparable labor category rates. As this position is contingent upon contract award, final compensation will be confirmed based on the awarded contract's negotiated rates, applicable wage determinations, clearance requirements, and the selected candidate's experience and qualifications.
