Reporting to the Merchandise Manager, you will play an important role in ensuring product and procurement processes are accurate, efficient and aligned to business objectives.\nThis role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, systems and stakeholders, and who is looking to build their career within a fast-paced retail and e-commerce environment.\nKey Responsibilities\nProcurement & Product Administration\nCreate and maintain SKUs within the ERP system.\nSet up and maintain product listings on Shopify.\nCreate and maintain product price plans.\nEnsure product and pricing information is accurate and up to date.\nOrdering & Replenishment\nCalculate appropriate replenishment levels based on sales and stock data.\nCreate and process purchase orders.\nMonitor and follow up on outstanding purchase orders with suppliers.\nCreate and manage inter-branch stock transfers.\nSupport the Merchandise team in maintaining optimal stock availability.\nConduct category analysis and prepare regular reporting.\nAnalyse category performance and identify opportunities for improvement.\nDevelop and maintain dashboards to support commercial decision-making.\nConduct category shop-out analysis.\nSupport the implementation and launch of new procurement and merchandise initiatives.\nContribute to margin improvement programmes and identify opportunities to enhance profitability.\nQualification & Experience\nBCom or BSc degree is essential.\nHonours degree will be advantageous.\n1-3 years' relevant working experience.\nExperience in procurement, merchandising, retail or e-commerce will be advantageous.\nSkills & Competencies\nAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills.\nStrong analytical and numerical capabilities.\nAdvanced AI skills and an ability to leverage AI tools to improve efficiency and analysis.\nExperience working with ERP systems and e-commerce platforms, preferably Shopify.\nStrong attention to detail and accuracy.\nAbility to interpret data and translate insights into actionable recommendations.\nStrong organisational and time-management skills.\nExcellent communication and stakeholder-management abilities.\nProactive and solutions-oriented approach.\nComfortable working to deadlines in a fast-paced retail and e-commerce environment.\nThis is an opportunity to join a dynamic merchandise team where data, technology and commercial thinking come together.
