Apply today and make an impact at Core Scientific.\nThe Job\nThe Command Center Supervisoris responsible forleading 24/7 Command Center operations across Core Scientific's data center environments, ensuring operational continuity, service reliability, and effective incident response. This role provides direct supervision of Command Center Specialists,establishesoperational priorities, and serves as the primary escalation authority during critical operational events. The Supervisor oversees shift operations, staffing, performance management, and adherence toestablishedoperational policies, procedures, and service standards.They lead cross-functional coordination efforts during incidents, emergency events, maintenance activities, and business continuity operations.This position is accountable for operational reporting, quality assurance, process governance, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of Command Center data and documentation. The Supervisor supports continuous improvement initiatives byidentifyingoperational gaps, recommending process enhancements, and ensuring implementation of approved improvements. Additionally, theyare responsible foronboarding, coaching, and developing team members to strengthen operational readiness and technical competency. The ideal candidate is a strong operational leader who thrives in a fast-paced 24/7 environment and can effectively balancepeopleleadership, operational execution, and organizational priorities.\nResponsibilities\nLead real-time command center operations to ensure uptime, incident response effectiveness, and operational continuity across all monitored environments\n\nServe as the operational lead for Command Center Specialists by providing subject matterexpertise, enforcing operational policies and procedures, andmaintainingreal-time awareness of data center activities, incidents, and critical events across all environments\n\nOversee shift operations, workload balancing, escalation management, and staff performance during critical events\n\nCoordinate with cross-functional teams during security incidents, emergency events, crisis response activities, investigations, and facility access operations to ensuretimelycommunication, operational continuity, and adherence toestablishedemergency response procedures\n\nParticipate in a rotating 24/7 on-call schedule to provide leadership support, operational escalation management, and incident coordination during critical events or after-hours operations\n\nSupport business continuity and disaster recovery operations during planned and unplanned events\n\nLead, mentor, and supervise Command Center Specialists byprovidingoperational guidance, performance coaching, and ongoing skills development to ensure high-quality incident response and operational execution\n\nLead onboarding, training, and continuous development initiatives to improve team performance, operational readiness, and technical competency\n\nEnsure operational continuity by coordinating staffing coverage, shift support, and leadership response during staffing shortages or critical operational events\n\nFoster strong cross-functional partnerships with site leadership, engineering, operations, and support teams to promote collaboration and operational effectiveness\n\nSupports continuous improvement initiatives within the Command Center byidentifyingprocess gaps,optimizingworkflows, enhancing SOPs, and driving operational efficiency across cross-functional teams\n\nEnforce adherence to approved SOPs and provide feedback on procedural effectiveness.\n\nCommunicate, implement, and enforce evolving operational processes, procedures, and business requirements while ensuring staff alignment, accountability, and operational readiness\n\nEnsure operational data, ticket quality, and shift reporting areaccurateandsubmittedin accordance withestablished reporting requirements.\n\nFoster open, respectful, and professional communication both within the team and with coworkers, teammates, and leaders across the organization.\n\nPerforms other duties as assigned.\n\nQualifications\nAssociate degree in related fields of study OR 5 years of relevant, Data Center support experiencerequired.\n\nPreviousleadership, supervisory, or team lead experience in a 24/7 operational environmentrequired\n\nExperience managing operational incidents, escalations, and cross-functional response coordination preferred\n\nStrong understanding of data center infrastructure, HPC operational requirements, critical facility dependencies, and site configurationsrequired\n\nUnderstanding ofITIL service delivery concepts, preferred.\n\nExperience with Slack, Ignition, Metasys, CMMS systems, and Confluence preferred\n\nExcellent Computer Skills with Proficiency in Microsoft Office products\n\nStrong analytical, organizational, and leadership communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate across operational and management teams\n\nStrong decision-making skills with the ability to prioritize and respond effectively during high-pressure operational events\n\nAbility to manage multiple priorities and operational escalations in a fast-paced 24/7 environment\n\nEffectively listen to, understand, clarify, and resolve the concerns and issues raised by co-workers and leadership\n\nExperience conducting employee coaching, performance management, and development planning preferred\n\nExperiencefacilitatingmajor incident response activities and escalation managementrequired\n\nExperience auditing operational documentation, ticket quality, and process compliance preferred\n\nDemonstrated ability to lead teams during high-pressure operational events and emergency situations\n\nReports To\nCommand Center Manager\nLocation\nOn-Site\nTravel\nOccasional travel between data centers.\nWork Environment\nThis job typically operatesin a professional office environment and routinely utilizesstandard equipment, including laptop computers and smartphones.
