Apply today and make an impact at Core Scientific.\n\nThe Job\nWe're looking for a well-rounded, hands-on Systems Administrator to keep our day-to-day IT environment running smoothly, with particular strength in endpoint management and workplace collaboration platforms. You'll own the administration of our Jamf-managed macOS fleet and Intune-managed Windows devices, run our Slack workspace, and be a key player across the broader mix of SaaS tools, hardware, and support workflows that keep the company productive.\nThis is a true generalist role: some days you'll be fine-tuning device compliance policies, others you'll be building Slack workflows, improving onboarding automation, or jumping on an escalated support issue. You'll have real ownership over the tools you administer and the freedom to improve how things work.\nThis position is fully on-site at our downtown Austin office.\n\nResponsibilities\nAdminister our Jamf Pro environment for the macOS fleet: enrollment, configuration profiles, policies, patch management, Self Service, and security baselines\nAdminister Microsoft Intune for Windows endpoints: enrollment, compliance policies, application deployment, update rings, and configuration management\nOwn Slack workspace administration: user and channel governance, app and integration management, workflow automation, retention and security settings\nManage the endpoint lifecycle end to end - procurement, imaging/provisioning, deployment, inventory, and secure retirement\nSupport and improve employee onboarding and offboarding, automating device provisioning and account setup wherever possible\nProvide escalated technical support across macOS, Windows, SaaS applications, AV/conferencing, and office IT infrastructure\nMaintain security posture across endpoints in partnership with Security: disk encryption, EDR deployment, OS hardening, and patch compliance\nAdminister and support our ticketing and service management workflows, improving intake, triage, and documentation\nDocument systems, build runbooks, and contribute to a knowledge base that helps both IT and end users\nFoster open, respectful, and professional communication directly within the team as well as with co-workers/ teammates and leaders across the organization.\nPerforms other duties as assigned.\nQualifications\nRequired\n5+ years of hands-on systems administration experience in a professional environment\nStrong Jamf Pro administration experience: policies, configuration profiles, smart groups, patch management, and macOS security\nStrong Microsoft Intune administration experience: device compliance, app deployment, and Windows endpoint management\nExperience administering Slack at the workspace or Enterprise Grid level, including apps, integrations, and governance\nSolid understanding of endpoint security fundamentals: encryption, EDR, patching, and least-privilege access\nComfort supporting a mixed macOS/Windows environment and a broad SaaS application stack\nStrong customer-service instincts and clear communication with both technical and non-technical colleagues\nAbility to manage competing priorities independently in a fast-moving environment\nAbility to work on-site full-time in downtown Austin, TX\nPreferred\nJira Service Management (JSM) administration experience: request types, workflows, SLAs, automation rules, and portal configuration\nJamf certifications (Jamf Certified Tech / Admin) or Microsoft Endpoint Administrator certification\nScripting experience (e.g., Bash, PowerShell, Python) for endpoint automation\nExperience with identity platforms (e.g., Okta, Entra ID) and their role in device trust and access\nExperience with broader Atlassian administration (Jira, Confluence)\nExposure to network fundamentals: Wi-Fi, VLANs, VPN, and office network troubleshooting\nundefined\nReports To \nDirector, IT\nLocation\nOn Site\nTravel\nMinimal travel between data centers may be required as needed.\nWork Environment\nThis job operates in a professional office environment.
