This role oversees all aspects of the business, including sales performance, people management, stock control, administration, merchandising, compliance and customer service, while ensuring company policies and procedures are consistently maintained.\nKey Responsibilities\nSales & Commercial Performance\nDrive the achievement of daily, weekly and monthly sales targets.\nMonitor store performance and implement initiatives to maximise revenue and profitability.\nAnalyse sales reports and key performance indicators to identify opportunities for improvement.\nPromote upselling and cross-selling opportunities across all product categories.\nEnsure sales targets are communicated and understood by the team.\nLeadership & People Management\nRecruit, coach and develop a high-performing team.\nConduct regular one-on-one coaching sessions and performance reviews.\nSet, monitor and manage individual and team KPIs and Key Performance Areas (KPAs).\nMotivate the team to consistently achieve sales and customer service objectives.\nManage employee performance, attendance and disciplinary matters in partnership with HR.\nFoster a positive, collaborative and customer-focused culture.\nStaff Scheduling & Workforce Planning\nPrepare and manage staff rosters to ensure optimal floor coverage.\nManage leave, attendance and timekeeping.\nAllocate resources effectively to meet trading requirements while managing labour costs.\nStock Control & Inventory Management\nEnsure accurate receiving, grading, labelling and storage of all stock.\nMaintain stock accuracy through regular cycle counts and stock takes.\nEnsure effective replenishment and merchandising of all products.\nIdentify, report and manage faulty, damaged or missing stock.\nMinimise stock losses through strong inventory controls.\nStore Operations & Administration\nEnsure all sales, returns, banking, cash-ups and manual invoices are processed accurately and according to company procedures.\nMaintain accurate administration and ensure all documentation is submitted to Head Office within required timeframes.\nControl store expenses and operate within budget.\nEnsure compliance with company policies, procedures and audit requirements.\nReceiving, Dispatch & Supplier Liaison\nEnsure all receiving and dispatch procedures are followed accurately.\nInvestigate and resolve supplier discrepancies within agreed turnaround times.\nEscalate unresolved issues to Head Office where necessary.\nMaintain accurate documentation relating to deliveries and supplier queries.\nMerchandising & Housekeeping\nEnsure the store and stockrooms are clean, organised and well maintained.\nMaintain high visual merchandising standards in line with company guidelines.\nEnsure all products are correctly priced and labelled.\nCustomer Experience\nDeliver an exceptional customer experience at every interaction.\nEnsure customers are assisted promptly and professionally.\nResolve customer complaints and escalations effectively.\nEnsure customer repairs, trade-ins and service requests are processed according to company standards.\nStakeholder Management\nLiaise regularly with Head Office departments, including Operations, Finance, Marketing, Supply Chain and Human Resources.\nImplement Head Office initiatives, campaigns and operational directives.\nCommunicate business updates and operational requirements effectively to the store team.\nOnline Orders\nAcknowledging the order\nChecking the unit through the QC process\nDispatching the order\nCommunication when and where required with an online custome\nCompliance & Risk Management\nEnsure compliance with company policies, health and safety standards and relevant legislation.\nSafeguard company assets and minimise operational risk.\nEnsure security procedures are always adhered to.\nEducational Requirements\nMatric / Grade 12 (Essential)\nRetail Management or Business Management qualification (Advantageous)\nExperience\n3-5 years' retail management experience, preferably within consumer electronics or technology retail.\nProven experience managing sales targets and store profitability.\nExperience leading and developing retail teams.\nStrong understanding of stock control and inventory management.\nProficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook and Word) and retail
