The team partners with business and functional teams across the organization to drive operational excellence in order to achieve our priorities, strengthen our position as a market-leading organization, create partnerships, and ultimately deliver a better end-to-end experience for our customers, distribution partners and colleagues.\nAbout The Role:\nWe are looking for an experienced Sr. Sourcing Manager with proven background in sourcing complex software (i.e., SaaS, on-prem, AI, POCs, pilots, etc.) and associated Services across a global supply chain. This role leads all aspects of strategic sourcing, from category assessment and planning, vendor due diligence, RFx, negotiations, contracting and participation in related vendor management activities across multiple Lines of Business. The role includes indirect management of a team of software sourcing managers.\nResponsibilities:\nAccountable for competitively bidding, negotiating price and related business terms and relaying said terms into logical and meaningful contracts that are in compliance with the policies, procedures and contracting principles.\nProvide key negotiation and pricing advice to assigned Lines of Business on each transaction with an emphasis on delivering bottom-line financial savings and/or risk minimization.\nEffectively manage complex projects including: LOB expectations, leadership involvement, internal/ external communications, deliverable(s) timing, and executive reporting.\nManage the workload, training, and performance of a team of software sourcing managers (a mix of full-time employees, staff augmented personnel and managed service workers).\nOperate effectively at all levels and across matrixed environments, both internally and externally, including with CXOs.\nPartner closely with our internal legal, risk and finance teams towards the successful completion of integrate negotiations and initiatives.\nPartner closely with key business stakeholders. Develop and share category-specific operational measurements. Respond to requests in a timely manner.\nMaintain necessary sourcing system data, metrics and spend/savings analytics in support of departmental reporting and policy and procedure requirements.\nEnsure consistency in supplier engagements. Carry out all supplier due diligence as required.\nWork closely with regional teams and clients on local, regional and sometimes global project activities.\nContinually develop subject matter expertise. Remain current on competition, category trends and industry practices.\nActively participate/lead Sourcing & Procurement initiatives that drive the continuous improvement of the Sourcing function at Corebridge\nDemonstrate understanding of the client’s business, objectives, and constraints when addressing their needs. Respond to clients with the appropriate sense of urgency and importance.\nBuild effective and trusted relationships with internal clients and vendors.\nCreate a portfolio approach towards select key spend categories.\nHigh energy and enthusiasm required to contribute to and help shape an evolving Corebridge Sourcing & Procurement organization.\nCapable of exercising forceful yet sensible project management techniques.\nIncorporate different perspectives and experiences of clients and colleagues to generate better ideas, solve problems and improve performance.\nAffable, with a high tolerance for ambiguity.\nCollaborating with Supplier Diversity teams.\nAchieve cost reduction/savings target\n\nSkills and Qualifications:\n10+ years sourcing experience\n6+ years of experience in sourcing software\n3+ year of managing personnel\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills\nStrong entrepreneurial, interpersonal and team skills.\nDemonstrated ability to work independently and in teams to deliver results\nExcellent communication, writing, facilitation, collaboration and interpersonal skills.\nDevelop reporting to track the progress of the initiatives\nExcellent experience with Ariba, Fieldglass, and MS Office products.\nMust be able to function in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.\nMust be able to work with Global Cross-Functional teams and operate in a Flexible work schedule.\nBachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain or equivalent field.\nCompensation:\nNot all candidates will be eligible for the upper end of the salary range.
