Senior Development Engineer in Test - 2

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop scalable automation frameworks for UI, API, and microservices.
• Lead end-to-end test automation strategy for assigned modules/services.
• Build and maintain robust, reusable, and maintainable test suites.
• Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines with quality gates.
• Perform API, integration, and system testing across distributed systems.
• Work with Docker and Kubernetes for test environments and execution.
• Drive shift-left testing (early validation, test design during development).
• Collaborate with developers to improve testability, observability, and code quality.
• Analyze production issues and contribute to root cause analysis.
• Mentor junior QA/SDET engineers and guide best practices.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in QA with a strong focus on automation and development.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright / Selenium / Cypress (Playwright preferred).
• Strong programming skills in JavaScript / Java / Python.
• Solid experience in API testing (REST, contract testing, mocking).
• Experience with CI/CD tools (GitLab CI, Jenkins, etc. ).
• Working knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
• Good understanding of cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / OpenStack / similar).
• Strong understanding of test design techniques, frameworks, and patterns.
• Experience working with microservices architecture.
• Skills are automation testing. Cloud TypeScript Kuberentes Docker Openstack.

Good to Have:

• Experience in performance testing (JMeter, Locust, etc. ).
• Exposure to AI/ML or AI-driven testing tools.
• Knowledge of security testing basics.
• Experience with monitoring/logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, etc. ).
• Understanding of service virtualization and test data management.
