The ideal candidate will have 5 years+ of DevOps experience with a strong focus on on-premises or self-managed Kubernetes environments. This role involves deploying, operating, monitoring, and troubleshooting Kubernetes clusters and Linux infrastructure to ensure high availability, reliability, and performance of production systems.\n\nResponsibilities: \nAs a DevOps engineer responsible for systems being used by customers across the globe.\nSet the goals for the overall system and divide them into goals for the subsystem.\nIdentify the performance bottleneck and come up with the solution to optimize the time and cost taken by the build/test system.\nBe a thought leader to contribute to the capacity planning for software/hardware, spanning internal and public cloud, and solve the trade-off between turnaround time and utilization.\n\nMonitoring and Observability (Must Have): \nImplement and maintain Prometheus and Grafana for infrastructure and application monitoring.\nCreate and manage real-time Grafana dashboards for cluster health, application metrics, and alerts.\nAnalyze monitoring data to proactively identify and resolve performance and reliability issues.\nSupport incident response using observability tools.\n\nPlatform / Portal Exposure (Good to Have): \nGain working knowledge of Horizon/Platform portals used for infrastructure or operational visibility.\nMonitor and track infrastructure health and incidents using internal portals.\nUtilize portals for operational insights and incident management.\n\nRequirements: \nBachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent hands-on experience).\n5 years+ of experience in a DevOps/SRE/production support role.\nGood experience in OpenStack, Ceph, and Ansible.\nExcellent background in cloud technologies like OpenStack, Docker, Kubernetes, and Ansible.\nExcellent understanding of hybrid, multi-cloud architecture and edge computing concepts.\nAn ability to identify the bottleneck and come up with a solution to optimize it.\nExcellent knowledge and working experience with Docker containers and virtual machines.\nExperience with monitoring tools like Grafana and Prometheus is good to have.\n\nPreferred Qualifications: \nExperience with CI/CD pipelines integrated with Kubernetes.\nExposure to
