The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the proper repair and operation of pumps and their associated systems. The Pump Service Technician will work on a variety of electric and pneumatic pumps.\nMajor Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities\nReview project specifications and drawings to ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards.\nCollaborate with contractors, engineers, and other professionals to ensure that pump systems are installed correctly.\nConduct pre-functional testing and commissioning of pump systems to ensure that they are operating correctly.\nDisassemble and repair equipment\nTroubleshoot and resolve issues with pump systems.\nConduct flow tests on pumps to ensure proper operation.\nDocument and report on the results of testing and commissioning to the Customer.\nDocument all work performed and maintain accurate records. (Writing/ Photographs)\nCommunicate with customers and provide excellent customer service.\nRequirements\nMust be mechanically inclined\nBasic electrical knowledge\nHighschool diploma\nValid driver's license and clean driving record\nAbility to lift equipment not exceeding 50 lbs.\nMinimum Qualifications\nMust be a minimum of 18 years of age or older \nMust pass pre-employment assessment(s) if applicable \nPreferred Qualifications\nStrong knowledge of basic mechanical and electrical skills\nExperience working as a Pump Service Technician or similar role\nTrade or Vocational School Training\nAbility to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications to provide quotations.\nAbility to use electrical testing equipment.\nStrong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex systems.\nExcellent communication and customer service skills.\nAbility to work independently and in a team environment.\nAbility to travel within mid-Atlantic states.\nThis is a full-time position with competitive salary and benefits package.
