Core One is a team-oriented, dynamic, and growing company that values exceptional performance!\n*This position requires TS/SCI with CI Polygraph* \nResponsibilities:\nApply computer science disciplines including software engineering, algorithms, distributed systems, cloud computing, full-stack development, and database management.\nDesign and develop technical solutions that meet JIOC mission requirements and close intelligence gaps.\nSupport the development and optimization of automated intelligence processes and analysis tools.\nInvestigate, prototype, and evaluate emerging technologies and processes to enhance intelligence capabilities.\nIntegrate new technologies into existing operational architectures to improve intelligence effectiveness.\nImplement and integrate open-source, commercial off-the-shelf (COTS), and government offthe-shelf (GOTS) technologies.\nEvaluate the functionality, effectiveness, and suitability of systems and applications to identify and address shortcomings.\nDevelop technical documentation, conduct code reviews, and provide technical leadership for development efforts.\nCollaborate with government, military, and contractors in complementary mission areas to identify and address technical deficiencies.\nRecommend process improvements based on operational effectiveness and emerging technologies.\nActively participate in JIOC intelligence planning conferences and exercises, J2 working groups, intelligence system capability development meetings, Joint and national-level intelligence coordination boards, and technical exchange meetings with mission partners\nQualifications\nMinimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in computer science, software development, or similar technical roles, with at least 3 years supporting intelligence or defense applications\nMaster's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field preferred\nAdvanced expertise in multiple programming languages, frameworks, and development paradigms\nDeep understanding of distributed systems design and implementation\nExperience leading software development teams and managing complex projects\nAdvanced expertise in cloud-native architecture and deployment strategies\nSignificant experience delivering capability while utilizing DevSecOps practices and CI/CD tools\nExperience with system performance optimization and scalability\nKnowledge of federal information security requirements and compliance frameworks\nDemonstrated ability to translate complex intelligence requirements into technical solutions\nExperience mentoring junior developers and providing technical guidance\n\nSalary Range: $105,000 - $118,000\nThe pay range reflected above is a general guideline for this position and labor category and is not a guarantee of a specific salary or offer.
