Our goal is software that’s as easy to use as the modern apps you rely on every day.\nAbout the role\nAs a Software Engineer focused on internal tooling and enablement, your customers are your colleagues. You’ll sit within the engineering team and build the AI-powered tools, automations and integrations that help every team at CorePlan, from Support and Sales to Customer Success, Finance and Product, work faster and spend less time on repetitive tasks. You’ll work directly with teams across the business to understand how they work, find where AI can remove friction, and ship tools people actually want to use.\nWhat you will do\nDesign, build and ship internal tools end-to-end, such as chatbots, knowledge centres and workflow automations.\n\nConnect our internal systems and third-party platforms through robust integrations and APIs, so information flows to the people who need it.\n\nPartner with teams across the company to identify high-impact opportunities, prototype quickly and iterate based on real feedback.\n\nHelp teams get the most from AI by building reusable patterns, sharing best practice and running demos and workshops.\n\nBuild with care: think about data access, security, accuracy and cost so that internal tools are trustworthy and sustainable.\n\nTake part in agile planning and estimation, present your work in regular review sessions, and take part in code and design reviews with senior engineers and architects.\n\nResolve issues with the tools you own and help teammates troubleshoot.\n\nKeep learning. The automation landscape moves fast, and we want you to stay on top of new models, tools and techniques and bring the best of them into the business.\n\nQualifications and Fit\n4+ years of professional software engineering experience, ideally including internal tools, automation, or platform work.\n\nExperience with TypeScript, Python, React or similar modern languages and frameworks.\n\nHands-on experience building with LLMs and AI tooling, such as chatbots, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), agents, prompt design or workflow automation.\n\nSolid understanding of API design, integrating with third-party systems, and working with relational databases (PostgreSQL or similar) and cloud services (AWS preferred).\n\nComfortable using AI tools daily to speed up coding, debugging and everyday workflows.\n\nStrong communication skills and the ability to work with non-technical colleagues, understand how they work, and translate their needs into practical solutions.\n\nA proactive, product-minded approach and genuine curiosity about how AI can make a whole company move faster.\n\nA collaborative, team-first attitude and a passion for building tools people love to use.\n\nKey Projects\nYou will work on initiatives such as:\nBuilding internal chatbots and knowledge centres that give every team instant, accurate answers drawn from our docs, tickets and data.\n\nAutomating repetitive workflows across Support, Sales, Customer Success and Finance so people can focus on higher-value work.\n\nIntegrating our internal systems and third-party tools so data and context flow seamlessly between them.\n\nCreating shared AI tooling, templates and guardrails that make it easy and safe for any team to build with AI.\n\nMeasuring impact, tracking time saved, adoption and quality, to decide what to build and improve next.\n\nWhy Our Team Loves Working Here\nImpact & Autonomy: You own what you build, from architecture choices to production releases, and you see the impact straight away in how your colleagues work.
